hello!

meet your “sistricts” get to know your sister districts!

I hope you all are having a wonderuful start to your school year! School has just started for me, and I am just getting into the swing of things, balancing key club and homework! I hope you all are also staying safe and well! During the month of September, there will be a couple of events to look out for, like Homecoming Campigan,and the Opening of the first round of the YOF grant! Make sure to check out the resouces linked in this newsletter to ensure that you have all the resources you need. In terms of Sistrict updates, I am working on a website as well as a form for DCM/meeting visitations so I am able to come and meet you all! Office hours were held this past Wednesday; if you missed it make sure to come to the next one on September 15th, 2021 at 7-8pm EST or 6-7 pm CT, and 5-6pm MT.

LEADCON From July 29th to August 1st, 2021 the International Council (consisting of the International Board and all District Governors), met up in-person and virtually for the 2021 Key Club International Leadership Conference, or LeadCon. The conference consisted of many fun and training sessions, presentations, and service projects. COMMITEES The 2021-2022 International Committees are the Partners and Programs Committee, with co-chairs Trustee Lena Oswald and Trustee Sana Yooseph, the Global Relations Committee, which is chaired by Vice President Melanie Kim, and the Executive Committee, chaired by President Salma Eldeeb.

YOF GRANT This year, the YOF, or Youth Opportunities Fund, will have two submission cycles. The first will be from September 1st 2021, to October 15th, 2021. From September 13-17, Homecom-

ing is the campaign for welcoming back key clubs arcoss KCI; hence the name “home coming”! Resources for the homecoming campaign will be released in the coming months! use this oppurtinity to create a campaign within your own divsions and clubs with the help of the resources on the Key Club International Website, as well as inspirtation from eachother!
