Borough Wide Trash to Treasure Community Garage Sale!

It’s back by popular demand! The Totowa Public Library will be having their annual “Borough-Wide Trash to Treasure Community Garage Sale” on Saturday September 30th & Sunday October 1st 2023, an optional two day sale, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm RAIN or SHINE! The streets of Totowa will once again be alive as driveways will be packed with items for sale and treasure hunters traverse the Borough looking for bargains. Participants must register their address via the Library's website, or stop in the Library to fill out a form, thus adding their garage sale to the map. Every household receives a "STOP HERE" sign to be placed on their lawn or driveway on the day of the event. As the date comes closer, maps of all the houses participating in the garage sale will be available online and at the Totowa Library, located at 537 Totowa Road. The Totowa Library will have a “Shredding and Electronic Waste Collection” fundraiser on Saturday, September 30th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, (SHARP!) for a nominal fee. This paper is 100% recycled and processed into paper products! This event will take place the same day as our Borough Wide Trash to Treasure Community Garage Sale!

Fall Plant Sale

There will be a Fall plant sale, sponsored by La Serra Gardens, in the back parking lot of the Totowa Library, Saturday, September 30th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, the same day as our Borough Wide Trash to Treasure Community Garage Sale!

Food Drive

Help us help our neighbors in need! The Totowa Library will be hosting a Food Drive sponsored by Senator Corrado’s office, Saturday, September 30th from 9:00am-1:00pm, in the back parking lot of the Library, the same day as our Borough Wide Trash to Treasure Community Garage Sale! Non-perishable goods only. Whole grain cereals, peanut butter & jelly, powdered milk, dry pasta/rice, canned/dry soup, canned fruit/vegetables, canned/dry beans, canned meat/ tuna, tomato sauce, macaroni & cheese, Gravy, stuff-

Clothing Drive

The Totowa Library will be holding a Clothing Drive through Clothing Donation Services, Saturday, September 30th, from 9:00am-4:00pm, in the back parking lot of the Library! All types of used and wearable clothing, and all used and wearable shoes and sneakers. In addition the will accept accessories such as: *Purses/Backpacks *Briefcases *Belts/ Hats/Gloves *Socks/Scarves/Ties. Household items: *Blankets & sheets *Pillows & bedspreads *Quilts & comforters *Towels & bath rugs *Table cloths *Drapery & curtains. NO FURNITURE-TOYS-BOOKS-GLASS-LIQUIDS-BRIC-A-BRAC! All items must be tied in plastic bags!
