CCM Workforce Development Instructor Recognized for Excellence

Tom Schnipp, of Morris Plains, Project Manager Instructor for the Center for Workforce Development at County College of Morris (CCM), has been presented with an Honorable Mention for the Project Manager of the Year Award from the New Jersey Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). The award recognizes individuals whose work has significantly advanced the concepts and practices of project management.

IT, finance and business projects in the nonprofit, telecommunications, governmental and financial services sectors for midsize and Fortune 500 companies. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a member of both the international PMI and New Jersey Chapter, where he is an active volunteer. At CCM, he developed a Project Management curriculum designed to advance students’ knowledge in the field and enhance their career pathways. The program prepares individuals to become Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management (CAPM) certified.
