THE SEASON OF RENEWAL
Spring is a celebration of new life, rebirth, and renewal. It’s also the thrill of March Madness, celebrating everything Irish with a parade up Fifth Avenue and, of course, the start of Spring. What better way to welcome a new season than with this issue of fresh thoughts, the latest views, and up-to-the-minute ideas on the city you love.
In this issue, we visit Jean Shafiroff, New York’s First Lady of Philanthropy, who has successfully added TV host to her accomplishments as an author, fashionista, animal welfare advocate, and philanthropist. Her TV show, Successful Philanthropy cuts into how well-known influencers donate their time and know-how to make a difference and be a success.
As Jean professes, hard work is the key to success. Integrity, honesty, and perseverance are also vitally important. She believes you must also believe in what you’re doing. Everyone can achieve. But it does take work. Be nice to others. A positive attitude is also very important for success.
In New York Lifestyles, we share the voices of those who share their wisdom, lessons, and life experiences with the hope that their journeys will make you feel better about your life. Being in our community does that. Hopefully, the articles you read here will make you feel hopeful and good.
So, here’s to a renewed spirit! You’re always welcome to the New York Lifestyles community. We’re a good bunch, and like you, love this city and its people.
Wishing you a wonderful Spring.
See you next issue…
