TWO VILLAGES,

ONE GREAT SUMMER Boys and girls — ages 6 to 16 return every year as Y campers. Campers 6 to 12 enjoy the unique programs McAlister Village offers. Campers aged 12 to 16 create lasting friendships and memories as they participate in programs at Talcott Village. Our trained and devoted staff make the campers’ experience their priority, helping build your child’s diverse and social setting. Campers stay

for one- or two-week sessions- and many enjoy the whole summer. Built around the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, the friendships children forge at Y Camp become life-long relationships — and cherished memories. Each activity is designed as a progressive program, aimed at helping children develop fun, engaging, and safe environment.

TREAT YOUR CHILD WITH AN OUTDOOR ADVENTURE TRIP Campers ages 10 to 15 will experience the outdoors — hiking, white water rafting, kayaking and more — to offsite locations in multiple states.

LIVE IN THE HUDSON VALLEY REGION? – CHOOSE DAY CAMP! Activities are progressive, designed so each child will be able to practice the skills they learn in our fun and safe environment. Working with specialized program coordinators, campers experience a wide range of activities aimed at teaching self campers are led through adventurous and fun activities, while older campers may choose the activities they’ll participate in throughout the day. SPECIALTY SPORTS CAMPS We offer three specialty summer sleepaway camps which focus on Gymnastics, Volleyball and Judo. Each camp is led by world-class trained coaches who offer progressive training and techniques for all skill levels. Campers also enjoy unique outdoor camp experiences led by our caring and trained counselors.

JOIN YOUR CHILD IN THE CAMP EXPERIENCE! Summer and Winter Family Camp: Strengthen family bonds and have fun at our Summer and Winter Family Camps. Enjoy a weekend with sports, crafts and special themed activities.

In the Summer, have fun in the sun on our beautiful beaches where families can swim, tube, and water ski. When Winter gives us snow, XC-skiing, snow-shoeing, and snowtubing are always family favorites.

RETREATS AND WEEKEND PROGRAMS Open year-round for day-trips or multiplenight retreats, the Greenkill Retreat Center at the New York YMCA Camp is the ideal getaway. From activity choices and breakout sessions to lodging, recreation, and meals, our staff works closely with you to design the perfect retreat. Create your own schedule or choose from our activities list to enhance your function. Our professional staff will be available around the clock to ensure that each group has the best possible experience.

BUILDING FUTURE LEADERS Our courteous and professional staff can guide you solely through Ground Initiatives, 4 High Team Elements, and Low & High Ropes Challenge Courses.

SPECIAL EVENT WEEKENDS Women’s Wellness Weekends: Offered in the Spring and Fall. Break away from the day-to-day and relax during our Wellness Weekends. Activities include arts & crafts, yoga, hiking, evening activities and more. Men’s Adventure Weekend: Kick back in the Fall with outdoor activities such as Hiking, High Ropes, Archery, Golf Driving Range, Field Sports and more during this Men’s only weekend.

MODERN AMENITIES IN OUR RUSTIC SETTING The Rockefeller building includes a large auditorium, 9 breakout rooms and Wi-Fi. Our indoor Field House has 15,400 sq ft of program area.


YEAR-ROUND LODGING Our Greenkill lodging includes seven centrally-located dorms — with 300-bed capacity and choice of shared or semiprivate lodging.

HEALTHY DINING CHOICES Healthy buffet-style meals are served in a centrally-located dining hall. Our food service staff will work with you to accommodate your dietary needs.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION The Greenkill Outdoor Education Center provides educational programs for students. Our holistic approach tailors each visit to your school or organization’s needs. Our professional staff focus on student needs to encourage learning in a natural environment. Through guided discovery, hands-on exploration, and engaging with their peers, students build character and develop their social skills, while immersed in a natural setting.

We customize our SEDL needs and goals. Classes are designed as supportive tools for teachers to use as extensions or complements to their traditional in-school curriculum. All courses adhere to New York State Department of Education standards.
