Safety is our primary focus. Our adventure staff have certifications in Wilderness First Responder, Lifeguarding, and First Aid/CPR. Trip leaders receive two weeks of training focused on working with children and ensuring safety in an outdoor environment.

THE Y: For Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility 877-30-YCAMP camps@ymcanyc.org 50% of all camp fees must be paid by May 1st. Final payments must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the start of camp.

Delaware River Adventure ($719)

New York, Pennsylvania Explore the Delaware River by canoeing and camping on a wild and scenic 5 day adventure
Empire State Adventures ($1,829) July 5-July 17
Ages 12 to 15
New York Get a taste of what New York State has to offer as we explore the regions of the Empire state! Experience the Adirondacks, Finger Lakes, Catskills, and Niagara regions through hiking, climbing, rafting and caving.
Southeast Adventures ($1,889) July 19-July 31 Ages 12 to 15
Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia Kayak, surf, climb, and raft your way through the South! Destinations include Assateague Island National Seashore, Cape Hatteras National Seashore, the Smoky Mountains, and the New River Gorge.
Introductory Adventures ($719) August 2-August 7
Ages 10 to 12
Activities include hiking and rock climbing in the Shawangunk Mountains, kayaking and tubing on the Delaware River, and team building elements at the NY YMCA Camp. Campers will learn and practice basic camping skills at NY Y Camp.
Great Lakes Adventures ($1,889) August 9-August 21 Ages 12 to 15 New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin Sightsee and camp on all 5 of the Great Lakes! See the beauty of these National treasures! Throw in some hiking at Sleeping Bear Dunes and whitewater rafting in Northern Wisconsin.
