Thinking of Quitting?

Some people quit on their own by cutting down or quitting cold turkey. For some, planning ahead helps. Figure out what makes you want to use, or where, or with who, and try to avoid them. This can be hard if it’s about where you stay. It’s bonus if you can find a friend who will help you. Getting clean is a big deal and can be quite scary. It can be really hard on your body for a while. Quitting is your best choice and the healthiest thing

to do, but people usually need help to do it. It takes a strong will, support, time, and patience, but lots of people have been able to stay clean.

Some people choose detox and a treatment centre.

There are many people who can help you. Please ask the needle exchange staff, a doctor, therapist, elder, nurse, or someone you know if you’re thinking about quitting.
