Lee County Schools recognized Social Studies teacher Adam Molloy as a Golden Apple finalist. It has been a great year, thus far, for North Fort Myers High School. Our winter sports season has nearly concluded, and it has been very successful for our girls’ soccer team. Our varsity girls’ soccer team won the district championship, going undefeated in district play, and advanced to the first round of regional competition. Our spring sports season has just begun its action. If you have the opportunity, please come out and show your support for our student-athletes who work extremely hard at balancing their academic life with their extracurricular life. We truly appreciate all of their hard work and dedication to the school, so let’s show them our appreciation. If you have any questions regarding after school events at NFMHS, please contact our Athletic Director, Kathy Padilla, at (239) 995-2117. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to contact me, or one of our administrators, whenever an issue arises at the school. Your child and their well-being is our foremost concern, and we welcome parent contact to apprise us of all issues. We take any and all issues and/or concerns very seriously and work tirelessly to ensure that stakeholders are satisfied with the education that students at North Fort Myers High School are receiving. More than anything, I want to ensure that we are doing what is in the best interest of our students. That can only occur when we are aware of any issues and/or concerns so we can address them immediately.

Vera Mitchell & Dee Holland, teacher at NFMHS and alumni NFMHS basketball player for Vera Mitchell

TRAILBLAZER NIGHT Vera Mitchell was recognized as a “Trailblazer” for North Fort Myers High School. She was the first girls basketball coach, truly an inspiration for us all.

If you or someone you know would like to make a donation or charitable contribution to North High, please contact our book keeper, Nancy Antkowiak, for more information. Also, be sure to visit our website at nfmredknights.com for more information about all the opportunities that NFMHS has to offer. Kind Regards, Matthew Mederios Principal
