Sioux’s contribution Sioux is responsible for all of the software-related R&D development for Fleetlogic, like the board computers’ technology roadmap, the telematics platform, the addition of the mobile development strategy and corresponding REST API interfaces. Sioux chose Xamarin 2.0 to develop the mobile applications for Fleetlogic, writing 75% in common (C#) code and 25% in platform-dependent, native iOS and Android code. Windows Phones can also be added in the near future with very little effort.
Result The mobile application is perceived as a high-quality, easy- to-use product without defects. With respect to native development on three platforms, this strategy reduces the effort needed by 50%.

Home control application The customer’s challenge The customer wants to give end users of their existing ‘Home Control’ system an easy way to change the settings of their home automation programme themselves, instead of having to call the company that installed it. They are in need of an application that runs virtually on all of the user’s devices like tablets, smartphones (iOS, Android), desktops/laptops (Windows, Mac) and can connect to the Home Control system.
Sioux’s contribution Sioux developed a multi-platform application that offers equal functionality and look & feel on all four supported platforms. The applications communicate with the customer hardware through Wi-Fi and allow the end user to view and edit the configurations of their lights, thermostats, automated actions, etc. The user interface was implemented in accordance with the specific graphici design, including animations and many custom controls. Sioux managed to make over 65% of the code reusable for all platforms, which greatly increases maintainability and testability.
Result The customer’s users are now in control of their own home with the new multi-platform application. End users can now manually change the settings of their Home Control system.

Bird control Aerolaser The customer’s challenge The customer wanted to bring an app for automating bird control to the market. Users should be able to configure, schedule and control the Aerolaser systems at the airport on their tablets. The app should also show system statuses, such as battery, power, data statistics and scheduling logs.
Sioux’s contribution Sioux has developed the so-called Groundflex and Helipad apps to configure the Aerolaser systems through high - speed Bluetooth connection. Based on the chosen machine type, the app provides suitable layouts with predefined features and visualises the system’s real-time status. Sioux also created a

DanaBus Mobile App The customer’s challenge Bus passengers' problem is difficulty in searching for bus routes and determining the distance from departure to arrival points. They want to know exactly the bus arrival time to reduce the waiting time. To come to the final destination, they also need an app that provides detailed time, routes, and bus fares.
Danang is a coastal city, which is well known as the most worth living city, located in the Central of Vietnam. In recent years, with its ambition of a “Smart City”, Danang Government has made

Sioux’s contribution We finish the application from design to full implementation. The user can select which model to load (Male or Female). Based on the smaller parts of models that are defined in XML, we dynamically create the menu to switch model parts. Animations can be added to the model then to be played by gazing and air tapping the model. The whole model can be manipulated using toolbar which includes: Rotate/Scale/Move.
Result This application has been finished and changed the ways of learning human body in an interactive way.

After having been in Canada for over 30 years, Calvin returned to Vietnam to manage a Swedish software outsourcing company for 3 years before joining Sioux High Tech Software.
