You can make a paste out using equal amounts of lemon juice, milk powder, raw organic honey (preferably manuka honey) and a little bit of almond oil and apply this on your face. Wash off after 15 to 20 minutes. This will not only help to reduce tan but can also give you glowing skin. Remove juice from grated potatoes to be applied on the sunburned skin. This provides good relief for sunburns. Mix one egg white with one teaspoon of raw organic honey (preferably manuka honey) and hazel. Apply this on the bruised area and leave it for 5-10 minutes. Later wash it with lukewarm water. Place chilled cucumber slices on the spots affected by sunburn. You can add 1 to 2 tablespoon of raw organic honey (preferably manuka honey) to mashed ripe papaya and apply this to the suntanned skin.


Take a bath in warm water in which you have previously added 2 cups of regular baking soda. You can bathe the sun burnt area with a mixture of twenty drops of urtica urens tincture and four ounces of water. This is supposed to soothe the skin and bring relief from the prickly sensation. Add 20 drops of urtica urens tincture in four ounces of water and bathe the bruised area. This would provide relief from the itchy and prickly skin sensation.
