In August 2014, the N. Houston Development Corp (formerly Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority) opened North Houston Skate Park, a skaters dream! With 77,000 square feet of skatable surface, it is one of the largest skatepark in North America - and the in the entire world!

Grab your gear and get ready to grind! The park features a world-class, competition-scale Texas-shaped bowl with a full pipe, a 12-foot vertical ramp, a 10-foot-deep bowl, banked walls & speed hips - plus backyard-style pools & 3 flow bowls - beginner, intermediate, & advanced. A section designed to emulate the street-skating experience has ledges, rails, benches, banks, quarter pipes & stair obstacles, providing fun and creative challenges for skaters of all levels and interests.

In addition to the multi-level features, the Park is home to “High Noon”a life-size, full pipe bronze sculpture designed by legendary skateboarder Steve Olson.

Admission is free. Helmets are required.
