THE WOW TRAIL
Advertisement
Paved, 10 ft. wide multi-use pathway parallels the existing RR corridor in the city of Laconia. The 2.5 mile trail travels from Elm Street in Lakeport to the Belmont town line and connects to the new 1.7 mile Winnisquam
Scenic Trail which leads to the Agway store on Rte. 3 near the Mosquito Bridge.
Northern Rail Trail
58-mile multi-use trail running from Lebanon to Boscawen using the right-ofway of the Boston and Maine Railroad’s former Northern Line. Numerous activity options; best used March to November. Dogs (on leash) can use the trail, which follows the route of the B & M Railroad along the Mascoma River. Family friendly. Trail end points: Spencer Street in Lebanon and River Road near the Hannah Dustin Park & Ride in Boscawen.
Plymouth Area Trails
FOX PARK
The singletrack trails are designed with intermediate riders in mind, and feature a mix of flow and technical riding. You will encounter roots, rocks and steep terrain on these trails. For walkers, the doubletrack trails are most suitable.
Parking: There is a large parking lot on Prince Haven Drive, off Langdon Street. GYROSCOPE TRAILS Pemigewasset Riverside Park, on the Holderness side of the river, has long been LRTA known to mountain bikers as the Gyroscope Trails, or Gyro. The trail network is unique in New Hampshire for its absence of rocks, making it a true beginner network. Winding, twisted singletrack; a great place to develop turning skills. PUMP TRACK
The Pump Track is a great place for beginners to develop their skills. A starting ramp and a figure-eight track of rollers and berms winds through the old concrete supports (which also serve as a public graffiti canvas).

Popular access points are at the Wolfeboro Railroad Depot, Albee Beach and Fernald Crossing. COTTON VALLEY TRAIL This year-round trail connects with the Bridge Falls Path to provide multi-use rail trail access through Wolfeboro, along Crescent Lake and Lake Wentworth shores and to Wakefield and beyond. Access points: Albee Beach, Mast Landing, Fernald Crossing and from the Bridge Falls Path. ELIE’S WOODLAND WALK
Front Bay Trail TIMBER & STONE, LLC On Rte. 109, at Ryefield Marsh near the north end of Lake Wentworth. Self guided nature trail at a beautiful marsh that feeds into Lake Wentworth. Great wildlife viewing: herons, beaver activity, deer, moose and more. FRONT BAY CONSERVATION AREA
Wooded parcel of land on Bay Street along the shore of what is now known as “Back Bay,” offers secluded paths, birding, wildlife viewing and picnicking. New (2012) trails system, picnic pavilion and kayak/canoe landing. A great place to enjoy a quiet walk in one of Wolfeboro’s secret gems along the water.
