Commissioning Engagement Plan
The Commissioning Engagement Plan for 2012/13 and associated finances be approved.
Transfer of Public Health Services
i)
To note. The plan was approved under Standing Financial Instructions but this item is highlighted to the Board by the NHS Wakefield CCE due the potential conflict of interest of GP and GP practice members. To note.
a sub group be established to consider the transfer of public health services to Wakefield Council through a Section 75 agreement;
ii) the development of the agreement to the Public Health Transformation Steering Group, including agreement on the contracts to be novated, be supported; iii) the work being undertaken to agree the most appropriate way forward in respect of public health contracts, including in NHS and GP contracts be noted; iv) the arrangements for locating public health employees into Wakefield One, under a Memorandum of Agreement be noted; v) it be noted that the report will be or has been presented to NHS Wakefield District Senior Management Team, Wakefield Council Family Services Management Team, the Joint Strategic Commissioning Board and would be submitted to NHS Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield District Board for approval. 1
