Cloverleaf Advocacy has been supporting people to access health and social care services since 1995. We have lots of experience in supporting people to get involved in shaping health and social care services. Our latest project is to be the Host for the Kirklees Local Involvement Network, developing and supporting it in its work. Local Involvement Network (LINk) What are LINks?
Your LINk will be able to:
LINks have been set up in all local authorities in England. They will be made up of individuals and groups from across the community and will be funded and supported to hold local health & social care services to account.

Make reports and recommendations then get a reply

Ask for information and get a reply within a set amount of time.
•
Go into some types of services to see what they do.
•
Tell elected politicians on an Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) what the LINk has found and get a response.
LINks are independently run and will be responsible for agreeing a work plan of issues. What will LINks do? •

Give communities a stronger voice to say what they think about their local health & social care services, what is working well and what is not working as well as could be. Give people the chance to check how health & social care services are planned and run. Feedback what people have said about services to those responsible so that things can changed for the better.
What powers will LINks have? LINk will have a range of powers so that they can say how local services should improve.
