Putting people first Come along to an information session for students, academics and anyone interested in the transformation of health and social care services – following the ‘roll-out’ of the Health & Social Care Act 2012 The idea is to give you a better understanding of the changing landscape for these public services and to think about the implications for you - professionally and personally Hear from, and talk to a range of speakers, including the Director of Wellbeing & Communities, Kirklees Council, plus representatives from the new group of GP’s, responsible for commissioning health services for Greater Huddersfield and other major agencies and providers And find out about HealthWatch – the new consumer champion for health and social care services in Kirklees
