GreaterNorth Huddersfield Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group
I’d just like to say... I’ve got a complaint. . .
I want to find out where I can go for help...
I thought the way I was looked after was great...
I’d like to be involved in decisions about the future of the NHS...
I think you could do that better...
For longer, healthier, happier lives
We want to make sure that NHS services in North Kirklees are the best they can be, and that is only possible if we know what’s important to you. You might want to ask a question, or you might want to let us know that you’re not happy about something. Or you might think that you got really good care. Whatever it is, we want to know.
Who are we? Across the country groups of doctors and other clinicians are taking responsibility for ‘commissioning’ most local NHS services. That means planning and paying for them. In North Kirklees, 31 GP practices have come together to take on this responsibility. We are NHS North Kirklees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). There are different ways you can let us know what matters to you.
PALS The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (known as PALS) is here to help anyone who has a query about their local health services. It is a free and confidential service to guide
you through the different services available, to point you in the right direction, or to help you if you feel you need to complain. PALS can also tell you about some of the other local and national sites for giving feedback, such as Patient Opinion, NHS Choices, and the Local Involvement Network/HealthWatch. (PALS does not offer counselling, diagnosis or any individual medical information.)
Comments If you’ve got an idea about health services, or if you would like to compliment somebody who’s treated you really well, we would love to hear.
Get involved Maybe you would like to have your say on how we develop local NHS services. You may want to help us with surveys, or perhaps you would like to take part in discussion groups? Maybe you would be interested in joining our readers’ panel, or becoming a member of our Patient Reference Group network. If you would like to know more about any of these options, please get in touch with our engagement team. Their contact details are on the back of this leaflet.
