When this notice is posted in the local newspaper of Chipping Cleghorn, it surprises Letitia Blacklock, owner of Little Paddocks. Undeterred, she prepares for her guests’ arrival that evening. Some additional villagers turn up to the house, intrigued by the announcement.
As the clock strikes 6:30pm, the lights go out and a door swings open. Moments later, a man lies dead.
An investigation follows, but who will reach the truth in time? Inspector Craddock or Chipping Cleghorn’s very own sleuth, Miss Marple?
