Hello! I am currently in search of an exciting and challenging job opportunity to pursue my career as an architect. i have recently completed my M.A. Architecture in Germany. My curious nature drives me to algorithmic design. a method utilizing digital tools to allow me to express my ideas while allowing flexibility in the design itself. Born in Malaysia, raised in the Phillipines and returned to Malaysia where i took my bachelors degree and worked for a corporate firm for a year. contributing to the design of highrise projects such as the Lotus Tower in Yangon. I was also given a part to liase between German consultants with Singaporean clients on behalf of RSP as the submitting architect for the Gerbang Nusajaya F1 Circuit. My international exposure enables me to communicate and express myself well and adapt to any new environment easily. Also exeprienced with delivering small sized projects from the drawing board to construction through a freelance design and build. A decomissioned 938m stretch overpass sits adjacent to Seoul’s main railway station. Seoul Skyway Studio asks to envision new experimental potentials to reclaim the once traffic-ridden space for public use.

The new overpass design is to be bold, while respecting the realities of the engirneering capacity of the existing structure. The intervention is meant to contribute to revitalizing the surrounding neighbourhoods by establishing a a social connection while also generating an iconic unique attraction.

The object of study for this thesis is living architecture, focusing dynamically on growing structures which can adapt to the environment in a process of constant evolution. Specifically looking at natural material and building systems, understanding the self organization growth principles and implementing them together with architectural structures resulting a genuinely sustainable symbiosis of architecture and nature. The thesis takes into consideration urban growth of cities leading to a global phenomenon of deforestation. With todays method of construction deemed unsustainable due to a one way form of energy from material to an inert building.

A digital forest is generated based of the information of an actual rain forest. With a 15 year growth consideration for the tree’s canopy, trunk branches and roots, a perimeter is created around these factors outlining the obstructions while the voids or negatives of the forest is marked as potential buildable spaces. Generative Design The design takes the void spaces and creates a 3 dimentional grid (green) Anchor points are selected and a irregular tensegrity framework is generated. A second envelope of struts are established around the base framework while the nodes holding the most weight are stretched to anchor towards the nearest tree trunk. Encasing the struts and cables with mycelium to encourage and overgrowth over the temporary framework

The proposal for the 31’st August Street, Chisinau, Moldova. The project is realized for the Moldavian National competition of town planning and architecture, organized by the French Embassy in Moldova and Agency of Inspection and Restoration of Monuments in Moldova. The brief of the project was the bring the communal buildings within the region together through the design of a pedestrian walkway as well as providing recreational nodes within the public space.

A ndrea H asse //A nhalt U niversity of A pplied S cience The aim of this project was to design a harbour on Hendourabi island, an open space with settlement conditions to promote investment and rehabilitation of the island. Taking into consideration the current economic state of the island, the types of materials are limited to whatever local materials are available on the island as well as adaptive reuse of materials from previous establishments such as corrugated metal roofing.

B hd The mixed development of hotel and serviced residence is designed with the concept of a lotus relating its identity to the Schwedagon Temple. The towers orientated to capitalize on the surrounding views, while the curvature of the tower is meant to create a soft visual linkage of the facade treatment and the skyline unifying the relationship with its context. My role in this project was to design the facade and the floor plans of the skyscraper, the main challenge was to design the units floor by floor maximizing the area for the units as the building’s facade was curved vertically and horizontally.

KG & UEM S unrise B erhad The design of the racetrack at 300 acres integrates a multi-purpose motorsports hub located at Gerbang Nusajaya, Iskandar Malaysia. The design also includes car showrooms, bonded warehouses, automotive retails, workshops, test track, go-kart track, clubhouse, and residentials on the outer rings.

As a representative of RSP Architectects Kuala Lumpur, I was tasked on behalf of the company to liase with Tilke, UEM sunrise and FASTrack Autosports to consult & verify that design was well within the Malaysian ByLaws as the submitting architects.

DBKL Executive Director(Project Management) Datuk Mahadi Bin Che Ngah presented the design of Sail City as a proposal for the Urban Redevelopment of Kampong Bharu’s City Centre. The design intention was to provide office towers on the western buildings while the eastern towers cater for residentials with retails on the ground floor. The main feature towers, positioned at the center of the development is emcompassed by the water feature, its curve base design for the two iconic towers are meant to resemble a set of sails, giving the name and identity of the proposed development as Sail City.
