TINY TERRARIUM
EDUTAINMENT APP & CHARACTER DESIGN
The Tiny Terrarium is a children’s Edutainment app developed to encourage kids to go outside and explore their surroundings. The target market is children from ages four to ten, 1st to 5th grade. The app allows children to photograph various bugs and insects in their surroundings. The app then uses the photo and GPS location to narrow down types of bugs. It provides the user with a list of photos of other bugs in the area, to choose from. The user chooes a photo based on, color and shape to match the bug they photographed. The app generates a character based on that bug. The user can interact with the new character, customize, and learn about the character. The app, prevents characters from being generated based on how dangerous the bug might be. It will alert the user to find a parent, then direct them to story mode where the user can unlock the character through mini-games.

ANTONY
Antony is the first character you meet, he is a carpenter ant. His design is based around a boy scout, he is helpful, young and very energetic. He can be silly and provide a lot of useful information to the user.

ROBERT A. RACHNID
Robert A. Rachnid, his design is based on a daddy long legs. He is meant to be an older sarcastic character, kind of dull, but wise. He enjoys cats cradle in his spare time, and cleaning his glasses.
BLU PELADILLAS
Blu is a spit fire bug. She is a based on a Blu Peladillas butterfly. Her character is meant to be energetic, and happy to help her friends, and jumping from place to place. You seldom see her without her goggles, and she always says they help her face a problem from a new direction.
BARRY BOUKWORM Barry Boukworm is the first character you meet in story mode, he is your guide, if you have any questions. Your first task is to help him sort the books in the library he lives in, based on their number code. As a reward, he offers to teach you about new bugs and keep an ear out for new friends from out of town who come to visit.

Hightide Burrito BRANDING & COLLATERAL HighTide Burrito is a restaurant located in Jacksonville, FL. The project was focused on new branding material for the location after they underwent rebranding. The project began with black and white take away menus. It later extended into various forms of collateral for the business. The main focus of the project was to explore the new brand identity and create dynamic, and functional materials to immerse the customer in the feeling of a creative, upper class, and family friendly establishment.

DISTRICTS & DUNGEONS MOBILE GAME DESIGN & ADVERTISEMENT Districts and Dungeons is an app based off of the award winning table top game Dungeon and Dragons. The purpose of the app was to modernize the table top game and bring it onto the mobile platform. The design was based around the aesthetic of parchment, and ink. The app allows for the user to interact with their surroundings as well as add others into their game at any time. The quests would be set up by a simialr player known as a DM to direct the story and plot. A game for the players by the players.

ANICAT STUDIO BRANDING, WEB, & ANIMATED LOGO Anicat Studio is a young new twist on an existing platform of Internet hub content. This would be a studio based on producing fun, entertaining, and interactive content for their users. The main site would not only act as a hub for the studio to place their work but would welcome users to submit their own art, music, games, and etc. Competition would be NewGroundz, a web hub based on user content without a strict filtration system. The difference is Anicat Studio would display their work, provide tutorials and, allow users to display their own work. The site would also provide a stricter submittion criteria to keep the site full of age approprite content.

CONVERSE AD CAMPAIGN PRINT AD CAMPAIGN “Converse” Ad Campaign is a project based around the creativity and diversity of Converse’s customizable footwear. The brand is well known, so within the project I focused more on the viewer's experience. The company has an amazing system of customization on their main website. It allows the user to add anything onto the shoe of their choosing. This customizability is one of the features that separates Converse from various footwear companies. The project is focused on the term ”CONVERSE”, how the footwear displays who you are, by showing off how you converse with your Converse.

The first screen was created to convey a soft feeling, void of the converse edge. Two tone color palette to keep it dull not very exciting, but large enough to grab the viewers’ attention. Audio used to create a grading ticking impatient feeling as the shoes tip back and forth.

Introduces the Urban Sketch font, and instant transitions with the sound of the ticking clock breaking to convey an urgent change.
The animation begins to flip through the various ways you can “converse� with your Converse, and displays a vector of a shoe paired with an image that can be placed on it based on how you want to converse your individuality.
Animation ends with the Converse logo, to plug the brand.

TINKER TOWN TOYS MOBILE GAME DESIGN & ADVERTISEMENT Tinker Town Toys is a company based on modernizing 60’s vintage toy robots. The company wants to encourage children to boost their imagination and creativity. They wanted an app developed for children to create a completely customized robot friend to interact and play with. The app “Tinker Town” is a children’s entertainment app based on creation, customizability, and shadow learning. The app allows for children to use various robot parts to design and customize their own robot. One of the fun features wihtin the app, is the loading screen. When the game turns on, the child is welcomed by an illustration of their robot charging up to see them.

The first screen introduces "Tinker" the main character of the app. He begins to move and unfold himself to create the logo..

Tinker continues to grow and change, altering his form for the final stage. Once both arms appear he dramatically jumps off screen, and lands farther back. Once in position he retracts his arms and reveals new extend-o arms that take shape of the logo.
Tinker's arms begin to extend and stretch around creating the shape of the logo. His hands also arch into the shape of a heart.
The final action of the animation. Tinkers torso opens up to reveal two spinning gears. These gears pop out and become the side icons next to him, and begin to spin. Then the name of the company fades in to complete the logo.

MENUAT LED DISPLAY LAYOUT & COLLATERAL DESIGN Menuat is a startup company based around the conceptualization and design of digital menu boards. The projects displayed are various menu screens produced for their clients. The clients range from all over the US and several different companies. Provided are the most common type of client’s restaurants. The projects allow for various type studies and work in layout. The biggest importance is the type hierarchy and organization of the menu Items, creating a system that is easy to follow and understand for the viewer.
