*This product could not be produced in a cost effective manner due to the high wages and high price point of the metal buckels and clips. To increase profit margins from significant changes must be made to the design including but not limited to swaping metal for plastic clips, latches, and zipper.
ESSENTIALS Designing a modern day active-styled camera bag that compliments the timelessness of a point-n-shoot film camera.
INITIAL CONCEPTS The initial concepts consisted of twelve piecces and utilized high polished hardware. Although beautiful in concept the time to sew and cost to make were to high to consider as the final concept.
VISUAL AESTHETIC The need to create a design that was compelling enough to set apart this bag was important. A white zipper and small camera zipper pull were the strong features essential to bring forward this objective.
FINAL CONCEPT Following up with the initial concepts this final bag consisted on only six indivudual pieces, greatly reducing the mount of time to assemble bag.
MATERIAL SELECTION This camera bag is made with water resistant coated orange polyester canvas. Color is everything with this bag. Its white zipper pleasantly contrasts with vibrant blood orange or midnight black will sure to stand out.
BOLSA A vintage camera bag for point-n-shoot film cameras. Its unique design is a statement piece to be worn by and displayed by individuals who love timeless technology.
ESSAG
NOSTALGIC FEELING This camera bag is designed with hints of a visual aesthetic from an early time period. Borrowing visual cues from 1980s flamboyant vibes colors, fonts, textures, and nuances this bag depicts an ideal interpretation of a past decade. These qualities generate a deeper attachment to the use and importance of the camera bag. Conveying a sense of genuine craftsmanship, fine detailing, and a durable and timeless design this bag is comprised from lasting and trustworthy materials. A film camera found in the family attic, garage, or thrifted at a second hand store— its story continues. Accessories for it should also create lasting memories through its use.
