Brendan Hesmondhalgh

Brendan Hesmondhalgh

Brendan Hesmondhalgh Brendan Hesmondhalgh is a Yorkshire based animal sculptor who works primarily in clay, wax and bronze. Capturing the dynamic nature of animals, and focusing upon structure, movement and character Brendan creates sculptural works that encapsulate and embody a creature’s spirit in inimitable style. Using sculptural surfaces like that of a canvas, directional and textural marks are included to enhance each form. Sculptures vary in stature with limited edition miniature collections produced through to those with monumental dimensions. Figures stand alone or as part of a group.

Ostinelli & Priest

Ostinelli & Priest Paul Priest and Gaynor Ostinelli work collaboratively to produce unique ceramic animal sculptures which spontaneously capture the spirit of their subjects. With almost sketchlike quality work which is highly original and often combines a touch of humour. Their work includes a wide variety of animals, including horses, hounds, bulls, hogs, wolves and deer.

Ostinelli & Priest Ostinelli & Priest were chosen from amongst 60,000 artists to take part in a special event organised by Saatchi Gallery in 2013 to showcase 1000 curator-selected works of art. They were also shortlisted for Wildlife Artist of the Year 2013, which is open to wildlife artists worldwide, with their work exhibited at the Mall Galleries, London in June 2013.

Emerson Mayes

Emerson Mayes

Emerson Mayes has dedicated his life in pursuit of capturing the natural landscape and its inhabitants. With never a mark wasted, the empty spaces in his drypoints are as important as those filled with his distinctly energetic (or dynamic? You choose) style, creating works that are beautifully balanced.

Jack Banister Originally from the Yorkshire Dales, Oxford based painter Jack Banister masterfully depicts rural life. His bold use of colour and layered application of paint gives a traditional subject a brilliant modern twist, creating works that wouldn’t look out of place in a chic city pad, or a country house.
