SAFETY FIRST Your children - all campers are in our safe care with highly trained and screened staff. We assess and limit risks while still providing exciting experiences.
INCREASED EMPATHY Caring for others, being in community with those you disagree with and learning to live well together is not always easy. These are invaluable skills we teach.
SELF-CONFIDENCE Camp is filled with new experiences. Being away from home is a step towards growth for many campers. Our staff facilitates and encourages a sense of accomplishment and growth for all campers.
A FAITH OF THEIR OWN Through worship around a campfire, singing and sharing, campers learn about God’s love for all of us and how we can share that love with others.

DEEP WATERS RISING SUN Rising Sun Camp is designed for children who have an incarcerated parent. It provides campers an opportunity to build a community of support, learn leadership skills, and to creatively express themselves through the arts. Campers also work on team-building, conflict management, and trust building, as well as have the opportunity to experience all of the fun things that camp has to offer—from campfires to canoeing, nature trails and games, ziplining, and much more! Due to our generous donors, the cost of this camp is subsidized to make it as affordable as possible. Please contact the camp to discuss registration.
Deep Waters: Encounters with Jesus is a family event rooted in the belief that God calls all to learn, love and serve in unique ways. Taking place in a camp setting, this camp experience is dedicated for young people ages 14–25 who are seeking God’s presence through worship, storytelling, fellowship through meals and gatherings, sport activities, leadership workshops, and faith sharing experiences. Deep Waters is an ongoing bilingual/intercultural youth (grades 9-12) and young adults’ ministry (ages 14-25) that uses an intentional mentorship model implemented by the Conference Committee on Hispanic/Latino Ministries in partnership with the Office of Congregational Development.

Recognizing that families have differing abilities to pay, we use a voluntary tiered pricing structure. This pricing does not influence the quality of the camp experience, but it does help us to continue to provide excellent programs, staffing, and facilities to everyone that attends our camps. • Tier A is a subsidized rate that helps keep camp affordable for as many families as possible. • Tier B is the direct cost of camp and covers the specific expenses incurred during a camper’s week including food, housing, summer staff, and program materials. • Tier C is the true cost of camp that allows for long-term sustainability and facility and program improvements.
