Welcome
Welcome to Clarke Family Farms Inc. It is with great pleasure we welcome you to our Volume II Bull & Heifer Sale.
After last year’s sale, I couldn’t express how overwhelmed I was to see you all at our sale. The excitement we had at the farm on sale day was unbelievable, Thank you. My family has been in the Agriculture
Construction Business for over 50 years, and to see my childhood dream unfold is pretty exciting. To see our genetics go out to so many new homes was really nice. Then to see our lead off heifer 19J win the Ontario Jr Simmental Show for the Dudgeon family was a real highlight. I can’t thank my crew enough for their hard work and dedication to the Farm.
We look forward in seeing you all again this year at our new sale Barn!
As we work at getting ready for our Volume II Bull & Heifer Sale. I can not express how excited I am about the offering. We have about two times the cattle as last year, with both Angus & Simmental equally represented and I think the offering is pretty nice. We were very excited to add the Norfolk Angus Herd to CFFI (thank you Brian & Dana for the opportunity). This is an exciting herd to be able to work with.
It has been quite a couple of years here for me at Clarke Family Farm Inc. Daryl, Connie and family have let me put together a very exciting cow herd, a great group of people to put it all to work. We have been building an outstanding cattle facility to work out of, and look foward to giving you a tour. Daryl’s love for cows and agriculture impresses me to strive to try and make it happen. I thank you Daryl, Connie, Phill and Spencer for the opportunity to build and breed a unique herd and to promote CFFI to the world.
Last year was our 1st and boy what a day, it was the first cattle sale in over 70 years in Chatham-Kent County. The turn out was outstanding and the Blenheim Agriculture Community was on fire, thank you to all that attended. To the bidders and buyers – THANK YOU! Now onto Volume II, I am excited about our offering and working with you all again. If anyone has any questions don’t hesitate to call anytime.
Big thank you to my staff here at the farm, the office girls and my family for letting me do what I love.
See you all at the Sale

Fancy, FAncy, FANCY is what comes to mind every time I look at this heifer. She brings a lot of neat things together in a moderate package. Out of the famous Stevenson’s Turning Point, the sire that bought Conley’s South Point the CWA & Denver Champion Bull (owned by Wilbar & Poplar Meadows –Congrats to them)! Then on the bottom is LLB 554H one neat Blue Chip daughter from the LLB Program! A BIG TIME JUNIOR PROSPECT HERE!! CFFI
Style & Grace sums this heifer up! Another Turning Point Daughter that is a complete package. Lots of shape, mussel and expression. Her dam the LLB 534H was one of my favourite heifers I bought that day for Daryl. The WCC Defense B80 sire group has been one of the leads off groups at LLB Angus year after year. Here is a big-tme heifer you must have a look at!

Deep, soggy and performance. That’s what sums this heifer up, just an easy doing heifer. Production in the pedigree Mogck Entice a leading AI Sire, doing an outstanding job on his calves. Talk about maternal power in the Soo Line Erroline 0227X (a 13 year old cow still in production at CFFI). She’s been an Angus matron at Soo Line, U-2, Norfolk and now CFFI. Longevity at its best here…
This young heifer has the look, nice fronted, feminine and just a complete heifer out of the Ellingson Home Grown 6035. This powerful sire has been cracking them out. Her dam, Norfolk Emblynette 47G, is one awesome looking cow coming out of the famous North Perth Emblynette Cow Families. Wow – take a hold here!
A little older heifer with a lot of performance and broodiness. This heifer has a pedigree to admire, and check out her numbers. This is the type to make a herd out of.

A bit younger bull here, but a bull that has a lot of potential. Once again a pedigree out of the popular AI sire “Entice” and a great cow from Mohnen Blackbird 135, one neat cow from Mohnen/Norfolk. This rascal can get the job done!

This Homegrown son is a true mark to his sire, big hoof, style and mussel – meaning more lbs on your calves at weaning. One of Genex lead AI sires known for Fertility, Foot Quality and Power, going back to the Powerful Deer Valley Rita 8343 …. MATERNAL, MATERNAL!
A Homegrown son with abundance of middle, mussel and shape. A very complete son. Homegrown is known for his foot structure and fatality. And his dam is the powerhouse Mohnen Jilt 1208, a true brood cow from Mohen/Norfolk! We have a daughter working here at CFFI (36G) and a son is working at Walter Bowers. Very nice bull with a lot of power behind him.

A long bodied, powerful Colonel 18G son which was a bull we purchased from Norfolk - a full brother to the Mohnen General bull that LLB has used heavily with a lot of success. The Colonel 18G daughters here at the Farm are doing very well, picture perfect udders, lots of milk and very picturesque. On the bottom, one of the best Angus females raised at Werner’s. And if you’re looking for performance numbers, have a look here!!

Big top, stout and big boned – here is his! This is a very easy doing bull with a tributes to be a powerful herdsire. Once again out of Wheatlands Man O War 907G and the powerful 170F from the Silvertown Dispersal. Last year her heifer calf was a lead off in our sale selling to GR Simmental, Gary & Lea Rairdan – she is doing a tremendous job! CFFI
If you like them chromed up, here is another neat baldie son out of Man O War! Long bodied and stylish – he’s the kind. Out of the baldie momma that is doing a nice job for us here at CFFI.

Well this is quite the bull. He’s been everyone’s favourite since day one. A ½ blood – just flat impressive, big bone, big top, hip of ass, shape, style, he’s got it all! Our heaviest bull every time we weigh them. Out of a power momma cow that Daryl purchased at the Silver Town Dispersal, she is neat! Then out of the Champion Angus bull of Chad Hollinger’s HLC GQ 278F, this bull took the show road by storm a few years back. Here is your chance to sit in and buy yourself one hell of a herd sire.

Here is a son out of our Wheatland 8156F herdsire (son of Wheatland Bently 630D) that I have liked all year. Mussel, shape and a nice hoof under him. He will get out and get the job done for you. His dam is a hard working cow at CFFI. Her heifer last year was one our volume buyers – Jon-Ern Farm purchased, and she is doing a heck of a job over there!
Well this will be one for the books, this bull has been outstanding – his long body, eye appeal, lots of red meat, power and performance! But his colour, grey?? I do have one hell of a time knocking him on his colour, but throw him with some black cows and they will look after the colour! His half sister was our high selling female for $20,000 in 2022 to the Dudgeon Family, and she went on the be Champion Female for them at the 2022 Double Feature Jr Show. Don’t let this bull pass you by!!!

Oh boy here is a neat bull out of a first calf heifer, a Riddler 323B daughter that we really like, and the sire I have loved since I got to CFFI. Daryl bought some embryos from Jack Oattes and raised this bull. He has a lot of great traits “Better Believe It”. Neatest thing about this bull is he’s 100% Clarke breeding on the top & bottom. CFFI 241K
This bull has a lot of power in his pedigree! The Wheatland 8156F bull adds red meat and thickness, but the powerful Red Dawn 257D on the bottom is a brood cow over and over again.
This Wheatland 8156F son is just impressive, when he gets done growing up – He’s going to be deadly! His dam is one impressive cow 03F. Big, deep, long and powerful. Even power in the Grand Dam Chloe 203, raised out lead off High Selling Simmental Bull to LLB Angus, Stettler Alberta. The 03F black baldie son is working at Barry Robbins.

Our only 2 year old in the offering and he’s impressive. We sold this bull last year to Emille Patten. We ran some heifers together and used him ourselves to clean up, but over the summer he grew some scurs (a bit more than we want). But he is a great bull to get out and cover some cows – raise one heck of a set of calves out of!

brian good
Well it was a sad, sad day to get the call that Brian had passed away! I was just talking to him a few days prior, and he said he was doing good and going to get out. I can’t put into words how big of a mentor this man was to me. I met Brian back in the 1980’s when we were showing cattle at Red Deer Fair and this friendly guy came by and introduced himself saying he lived close to town and was on the fair board. Since that moment I considered Brian a friend. This man couldn’t help out more, what ever you needed Brian got it done.
Throughout every endeaver in his life and in mine, we kept in touch. He was always there with advice, a contact number, his opinion a shared hotel room and a meal. This was one of the best road trip partners a guy could ever ask for. I don’t know how many times I have thought, well I better call Brian tonight! Damn I miss his visits. In later years, I got to know Brian’s wife LindaAnn and wow these two were made for each other! There has been a lot of great tributes to Brian from all over the cattle industry. Its really unbelievable how this man taught us all and so many. Till we meet again, happy trails my friend! Miss you!
Hugh Ross
