Artwork Requirements

General Information Acknowledgements: Quikey acknowledges all orders via email or fax unless distributors request that no acknowledgement be sent. This will serve as your notification of accurate pricing and will list current charges. Please carefully read the acknowledgement.

• Distributor Overruns from a production order may be requested on P.O. and the following charges will apply: • Quantity of 5 or less - $5 (X) • Quantity of 6-10 - $10 (X)

Please review your order upon receipt. If an error is found, please send a sample of the defective merchandise with your written request for return or adjustment. Unauthorized returns will be refused. Claims must be requested within 120 days of ship date or an adjustment may not be honored.

Change of Copy: Applies to orders that have multiple copies and one color imprints only. Unless specified on product page, Magnets, Zipper Pulls and Tag-Its are $20(G) per change, in maximum quantity increments per copy. Unless specified on product page, all other products are $10(G) per change, in minimum quantity increments for each product. Change of Ink:

Must be on the same order (i.e. black on 250 yellow pieces and white on 250 red pieces) - $6.25(G). Minimum per change is 250 pieces. Note: There is no charge for different color inks used on front and back (i.e. black ink on front and red ink on back).

Change of Product Color:

Within the same order, requires a minimum of 50 pieces per product color and baseline product minimums apply. TM Standard assortment of Sof-Touchfree key tag colors are red, blue, green pieces with white ink or gray, yellow, white pieces with black ink.

Less Than Minimum Quantity:

Unless otherwise specified on product page, LTM available for one color imprint orders only. For one side imprint, add $30(G). Two side imprints, add $40(G). Minimum 150 pieces for Sof-TouchfreeTM Vinyl key tags. No LTM for Zipper Pulls, Magnets, Acrylics or Custom Shape products.

Magnetic Strength: A magnet’s holding power depends on thickness (Mil), size and magnetic charge. We offer three thicknesses, many sizes and the highest quality materials available. Each thickness includes a white laminated surface. The following guidelines are for your planning purposes. 50 Mil thickness is a strong note holder, even for a small magnet. 30 Mil thickness is strong enough as a note holder in 3”x 2” size. 20 Mil thickness is acceptable as note holder if piece is 8 sq.” inch size and is an excellent thickness for calendars, planners, etc. Material Color Options:

For Sof-TouchfreeTM products only. The available stock product colors are listed on each page where they apply. Select additional colors are available at higher quantities and custom product colors are available at 10,000 piece minimums. Note: Light colors, especially white, show discoloration depending on type of use.

Numbering: Consecutive numbering (no missing numbers) and sequential numbering (missing numbers) are available on Sof-TouchfreeTM Vinyl key tags, and many other products, in quantities as low as 250 pieces. For more information and detailed pricing, call factory. Order Cancellation/Correction: Factory reserves the right to invoice for any incurred cost at time of cancellation and/or correction. Order Confirmations: Factory is not responsible for duplicate orders if confirmation order is not marked “DO NOT DUPLICATE.” Order Overruns / Under Runs:

Quikey reserves the right to ship and bill up to 5% over and under quantity ordered. Requested quantities will be produced as closely as possible. • Exact Quantity requests will be charged $20(G) for all vinyl products and $37.50(G) for all magnet products.

Shrink Wrapping • Magnets are .45(f) per pack (max. 25-200 per pack). • All other products .70(f) per pack (up to 50 per pack). Individual Poly Bagging • Magnets - .05(f) each. If magnet is larger than 4”x6” in size, then call factory for quote. • Memo Boards - .16(g) each, due to size. • All other products - .04(g) each.

Price Adjustments - 2009 Catalog: Quikey’s Sof-Touchfree™ products are composed of resins and plastisols that are oil based. As such, unexpected and substantial cost increases in oil or other raw materials during 2009 may necessitate a surcharge being added to your order and will be noted on order acknowledgement. PRODUCTION TIME: Unless otherwise noted, the following guidelines will apply. • Working Days* start the day after receipt of complete purchase order and useable artwork - see ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS on page 79 and PURCHASE ORDER REQUIREMENTS on page 77. • Orders Received after 5 PM E.S.T. will not be considered as “received” until the following working day. • In-Hands Date information must be specified on purchase order and supported by expedited production and shipment instructions. 7 DAY* STANDARD SERVICE • 7 Working Day clock begins the day after purchase order is received at factory and only if all PURCHASE ORDER REQUIREMENTS have been met. • Orders that do not meet all purchase order requirements, as noted on page 77, will not be placed on a production schedule until those P.O. requirements are met. • Proofs will extend production schedule by 2 days. Prompt approval is required to maintain scheduled ship date. • Standard service time will be extended by order or artwork changes, proof response delays or credit issues. • Applicable ONLY for catalog quantity orders and stock shape products. • New Custom Shape products will ship 7 Working Days after final product proof approval. 5 DAY* RUSH SERVICE • Add $50(X) for quantities under 1,000 pieces and .05(X) per piece for orders of 1,000 or more. Note: Rush service charges do not apply to in-catalog specials for 5 Day Calendar Magnets. • Catalog quantities only. Larger orders subject to quote. • Stock shapes only - NO new custom shapes. 3 DAY* RUSH SERVICE This service ONLY applies to select items in this catalog, including those marked as Quik-Ship and 3-Day Business Card Magnet Specials.

Production Order Proof Options: Require a purchase order to be placed before a proof can be produced. If no PO exists, you may order a spec sample. Proofs are available in the following formats. Note: Artwork changes to proofs will be subject to artwork charges of $60(G) per hour and a minimum charge of $29(G) will apply. • Email / Fax Proofs - $6.25(G). Available for all products. • Product Proofs - Include a pre-production sample of the actual product. Custom shape products will include a printed die line. Note: One ground service delivery location is included in proof charge. Sports Schedule Charges: Unless otherwise noted on product page, charge for typesetting sports schedules is $22(G). Charges for schedules with excessive typesetting will be billed at $50(G) per hour. Note: Charge to typeset and layout item #9145CSS is $50(G). Trademark Usage:

Write-On Panels: Available on most vinyl products and will be charged an additional color or backside charge. All write-on panels accept ball-point and permanent pens. Standard panel colors are white for colored pieces and gray for white pieces. In addition to white or gray write-on colors, Quikey can custom mix a write-on color to suit your needs for $12.50(G).
