GROUP EXERCISE

GYMNASIUM

Kids ages 8 and up are permitted to take family-friendly group exercise classes with the supervision of a parent.

Come run, kick, and dribble the time away during open gym! Children of all ages can have a ball with their parents during this designated time. Children 10 and up can utilize the gymnasium when their parents are at the Y. Children ages 12 and up can use the gym without parental supervision. Please refer to our gymnasium schedule or download the Y app to see dates and times of open gym.

These classes are appropriate for participants of all fitness levels. Please see our group exercise schedule or download the free Y mobile application for a complete list of our family-friendly group exercise classes.

WELLNESS FLOOR Good habits start young, so let us help!

Children ages 10 and up can learn the importance of healthy habits and gym etiquette and get comfortable navigating their way around the wellness floor. Make an appointment today!


HEALTH & WELLNESS BENCHES & BARBELLS

W

eight training for women who are looking to learn the ins and outs of the wellness floor, alongside a certified personal trainer. Strength training is an important part of an exercise routine. This small group personal training class is designed to introduce you to weights and general strength and conditioning. Move out of your comfort zone and push yourself to the next level. When: Monday/Wednesday: 6:30 - 7:30 PM | Tuesday: 6:30 - 7:30 AM Cost: Members Only: $55/Month | Sessions are once a week for one month

NEW LES MILLS CLASSES!

RPM™ Find your rhythm in a cardio peak cycling workout that delivers maximum results with minimum impact on your joints. RPM™ tunes you in to great music and takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. You control your own resistance levels and speed so you can build up your training level over time. Your instructor will show you how to set up your bike and all the basic cycling moves. If you want a true sense of achievement, get into an RPM™ class today.

BODYFLOW™ Ideal for everyone, BODYFLOW™ is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body, and your life. During BODYFLOW™ an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered.

LIVESTRONG promotes the importance of physical activity after a cancer diagnosis. This 12-week, small group class promotes well-being in a supporting environment. For more information please contact Jenny Paquette, Program Manager, at 727.394.9622 ext. 223.

our Preschool Academy, every day is a new opportunity to learn and discover. Our comprehensive, evidenced-based curriculum covers ten areas of development and learning focused on enriching your child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. All of this allows us to provide asset-rich programs that meet or exceed state standards and help young children build developmental assets - the building blocks that shape children into caring, responsible, and successful members of society. Our Preschool program offers state-licensed, full day education for children ages 2-5. The Bardmoor YMCA Preschool Academy is a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) provider for Pinellas County. The VPK programming is from 9am-12pm and has no required fee. A certificate voucher is required for enrollment.

SPORTS & LEAGUES All kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That's why our youth sports programs focus on skills, healthy competition, values, and teamwork.

PRESCHOOL SPORTS ids love our instructional program that introduces them to the fundamentals of sports of all sorts! This program encourages team-building, individual development, positive self-image, and appreciation for the game.
