CRAFTS AND DESIGN

Born in Salerno, Italy, on June 7, 1990, Nicola Perna attended the school of art and professional training "Tarì Design School" in Caserta. Under the guidance of Master Jeweler Antonio Scalabrì, he learned old and refined jewelry techniques. At the same time, he joined Scalabrì's jewelry workshop, where he started to collaborate with him on the creation of unique pieces and craftsman beauty. Additionally, he was given the opportunity to continue to learn techniques and processing stages. It was during this period, in which his personal style and taste of jewelry were defined, due to the craft and imagination that were continuously motivated. Being inspired by nature and influenced by the style of an Italian master jeweler with more than 50 years of experience, Nicola has developed projects which focus not only on the craftsmanship, but also on the new technologies such as 3D printing. In July 2015, he graduated as a certified jeweler and gem-setter. He continues to collaborate and learn at the same laboratory.
