Star Wars the Old Republic (SWTOR) is one of the most anticipated game of the year with an official release date on December 20, 2011. Given that this particular MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) is based on the hit big screen movie Star Wars, plus gaming features such as crew skills, companions and space combat, the rapidly growing fan base seen is expected. For gamers, as more people become interested and plan on playing the game, it means more competition to the top and in general more challenge. One of the highest competition expected is the race to the level cap when the gates to SWTOR opens for the very first time. With that said, as more competition is expected, gamers who are serious about the competition are practically devouring new game information, tips and hints weeks or at times even months before the game is released. Knowing the game's background, what it's built on, the mechanics and the game's features in detail goes a long way when the race to the level cap begins. One of the very first questions to ask is what is the level cap and how much experience is needed to go on to the next level. Next would be, how exactly do you earn those leveling experience and how do you earn them fast. Then to drill down even further, what's the game developed based on? Is it designed to emphasize questing-based leveling? If so, what are the better experience-yielding quests and what ways are there to complete those quests quickly? As demonstrated here, so many questions quickly appears as soon as you start taking the competition seriously. As such, it could almost be said that hardcore and ambitious gamers are practically glued to the Internet searching and waiting for the latest information shared by the game developers, perhaps some leaks or veteran's theories on how to quickly level up in the game. Consequently, this applies to all sorts of information about the game given with every MMORPGs, all aspects of the game relates and interacts with every other aspect. You might ask, what does knowing a certain class well relates to fast leveling. As a matter of fact these are two very related concepts. Every class and advanced class in Star Wars the Old Republic are designed to be unique with unique skill trees gamers can further specialize into. Knowing which skill is most effective against which monster or so goes a long way to quickly gather in those leveling experience. So does realizing what bonuses each class-specific armor or weapon has in store for your character. Thus, for serious gamers, it cannot be emphasized enough how important doing lots of research and homework is before jumping into the game. Even an untested theory and tip from some veteran is much better than spending hours at trial-and-error. It would be interesting to see how heated the competition becomes in order to stand out of the crowd, to be the first to hit the level cap or the first to kill a certain boss will turn out when Star Wars the Old Republic is officially released.
