In this project, my responsibilities were elaborating the interior design, developing the construction documents and renders, and preparing design presentations for clients and internal meetings to ensure effective communication of design concepts.

Description

ARDECO is a millwork remodeling project. The project aimed to work on three main objectives: creating a showroom, redistributing the workspace, and designing the facade to modernize the exterior and make it a point of reference for clients.

One of the major challenges in this project was the design of the showroom, as it had to be designed to include a kitchen, a study, and a bathroom, where all the spaces were welldistributed.

Description

Located in the historic center of Cali, Colombia, this project was born out of the desire to take advantage of the growing tourist market in the area by transforming a colonial residential building into a host el.

D uring the design process, climatic aspects such as ventilation and natural lighting were considered, resulting in double-height spaces, skylights, and openwork to promote cross ventilatio n.

T he remodel involved redesigning the existing zones and creating stay areas to accommodate 18 guests in five rooms with bathrooms and common areas such as a hall, backyard, kitchen, reception, office, and storage spaces.

Dental Center

Role: Internship Area: 5,888 sqft

Responsabilities

As an Architect, I was involved in the SD phase of a dental clinic renovation proje ct.

In this project, I was responsible for designing and producing an architectural concept proposal, including 3D videos, preliminary renders, and construction documents..

Description

This architectural project aimed to create a dental clinic prototype that could be replicated in various locations based on a proposed concept defined as “Nature by Humans.” This concept idea centers around how humans transform natural and curved elements into orthogonal and structured f orms.

T he project was divided into three modules. The first module involved designing a relaxing and organic environment, the second module focused on creating a transitional space between the organic and the reticular, and the third and final module focused on designing the dental offices with a unique sensation using modular lighting and a futuristic style. The project prioritized the use of natural light and materials incorporating biophilic design elements to promote a sense of calm and well-being for patients.

Urban project

Description

This urban project was founded on a strategy to analyze and generate urban proposals by defining five networks: environmental, equipment, heritage, mobility, and public space, and identifying five critical intervention areas between the cities of Riba de Ave and Olivera San Mateus in Portugal.

In the intervention area where I focused, I identified and designed three primary nodes and 20 subprojects that functioned as urban connectors. Through this process, I was able to analyze project costs, execution times, properties to be intervened (public and private), and how the urban project would develop in the a rea.

T he sub-projects identified allowed a detailed analysis and identification of the most critical interventions on a local, regional, and urban scale, focusing on sustainability, accessibility, and community engagement.
