PARIS / ALONG THE SEINE

professor m. stephen zdepski / fall 2018

the design is comprised of a wall system that either expands or contracts based on functionality. the positioned walls form different spaces along the site public, partially private, enclosed, sheltered, and exposed. walls are movable and are able to adapt to the changing environment. they can be fully closed in times of flooding, partially closed to accommodate event space and weather or fully open to take full advantage of the views of the Seine and the boulevard.

THE PROJECT AFTER RENAISSANCE professor alessandro orsini / summer 2017

the design is meant to enrich and emphasize the existing conditions rather than change the landscape. the new architecture pays homage to the already rich architecture located in Italy. the design consists of cultural hubs that extend outwards over time, while still reserving large portions of land for agriculture and green space.

GARDEN STATE STUDIO / GREENWICH professor susan bristol / spring 2018

the ďŹ rst part of the design consists of an artists’ retreat in the historic district of greenwich, new jersey. the retreat is divided into four layers, mimicking the layers of the existing houses along the same street. the second part of the design consists of artist cabins located along a proposed elevated pathway. these cabins would be accessible to artists looking to draw inspiration from the various environments that greenwich has to offer.
