Sojo, Inc.’s Restaurant Design Concept Premiers at Hartsfield-Jackson (June 2008) Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint (Juke Joint), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s newest restaurant recently celebrated its grand opening. An original concept developed by Global Concessions, Inc, Juke Joint takes its customers back to a time when life was slower, sweeter, and when music and food was at the heart of social gatherings – a challenge in the world’s busiest airport, but a challenge accomplished. Decorated with album covers from the 1970s, Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint is a funky and fun setting where customers can relive happy memories. Sojo, Inc. (Sojo) designed, developed, and deployed the Juke Joint logo and that helped to create the overall “feel” of the restaurant. Sojo also designed the menu, and the 30-page book of songs ranging from four decades so that the customer can come in and easily pick out their favorite song and punch the corresponding code into the jukebox to hear their song choice. After seeing Juke Joint’s menu items, the Sojo Team had a hard time keeping their mouths from watering during the design process of Juke Joint’s innovative menu, which is in the shape of a record album. Global Concessions operates five other food and beverage concessions brands within HartsfieldJackson Atlanta International Airport, including another original concept - Sojourner’s Café, which Sojo designed and developed concepts for as well.
