Oxfam is a non for profit global movement of people working together to end the injustice of poverty. With 70 years of experience in more than 90 countries, Oxfam takes on the big issues that keep people poor: inequality, discrimination, and unequal access to resources including food, water, and land. We help people save lives in disasters, build stronger futures for themselves, and hold the powerful accountable.
MISSION STATEMENT Oxfam’s mission is to create lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and injustice. We uphold human rights and help people engage directly in the crucial decisions that affect their lives. An end to poverty is more than wishful thinking: the proportion of the world’s people who are living in extreme poverty has been halved in just 15 years.

HOW THE ORGANIZATION IS PERCEIVED Overall OXFAM America is perceived as a charitable organization with great values and a strong focus on meeting their goals. OXFAM America is gaining momentum in North America due to their vocal ambassadors such as Aziz Ansari, Rooney Mara ,and Alicia Keys. These ambassadors and their social media presence are key indicators of their outreach towards the millennial audience. Their use of catchy slogans that hit hard to the viewer and images/videos that reveal the realities of these severe situations are also known for catching the attention of millennial audience which prefer a non-filtered approach.
OXFAM MARKETING STRATEGY The marketing strategy for OXFAM is very similar to other larger non for profit organizations, in that they focus on both print and digital outreach. OXFAM is known for engaging audiences and potential donors through clever marketing events such as their annual Ojam music festival and relevant content campaigns with witty slogans.
OXFAM’S marketing strategy is more focused on reaching out the people and having them help in building awareness in a that will create buzz and excitement.

We will be releazing a special designed T-Shirt for OXFAM America which will be based on raising awareness to the global refugee crisis. The proceeds will go towards helping displaced people in the middle east with the necessary aid need in order for families and individuals to meet their basic needs for safety. We will mainly be targeting people who are socialy counciece and involved in social matters.

T-SHIRT REVENUE Our Main goal is to sell a total of 2,000 t-shirts, sold at US$45 giving us a total amount of US$90,000. Cost to make each t-shirt is around US$9 giving us a total of US$18,000. As a result this event will donate around US$72,000 to the refugee cause. This fundraiser is a non-profit event, everything collected from the marathon will be directly donated to Oxfam refugee campaign.
BENEFITS The charity will benefit from the sale of the t-shirts by providing an income for all their ongoing programs in helping not only families who have been displaced but to those struggling to make a better life for themselves in their own communities. -Providing life-saving assistance to those affected -Providing emergency food distribution -Helping families with their basic needs -Providing clean water
