Palmerston North Craft & Quilt Fair
Palmerston Palmerston North North Palmerston Palmerston North North welcome Dear Craft Fair Friends, In 2013 we came to Palmerston North for the first time and we are thrilled to be back again in 2014. Our guest artist is the amazing Cheryl Bridgart from South Australia – an artist who happens to use a sewing machine to create exquisite thread paintings. Cheryl works freehand – make sure you make time to watch her work – stand in front of her for a while and you might just see yourself included in her picture! If you’re not familiar with the fairs, you might wonder what’s in store for you when you visit. Firstly, there are things to inspire you, then there are workshops and pop up classes to learn in, and then there’s the shopping. Stock up on supplies for the coming year because we are bringing exhibitors with a fantastic range of unique craft supplies that you won’t usually have access to so easily. At the fair they are all under the one roof at the one time. Meet them, see their products and buy from them in this once a year opportunity. You’ll find things you love and you’ll love what you find! We hope you’ll join us and together we can grow this event a little more each year. Are you from out of town? The same weekend that the fair is on, is also the last weekend of the World of Wearable Art exhibition at Te Manawa Museum of Art, Science and History at Palmerston North. Why not make a weekend of it – it’ll be sheer inspiration to kick off your year! See you there!
Tell all your friends: Two great events in two weeks – in Christchurch AND Palmerston North!
be early & you could win! Each morning of the fair at 9.50am, we hold a little warm-up dance with our exhibitors. Come and join the fun and you could win a great prize pack from Bernina, Cushla’s Village Fabrics, Just Patchwork or Textile Art (APQS).
Get ready to dance!
