From simple to intricate, flying to a paradise even in a fast- paced life. That is my goal, as a designer and as a person. Pushing the limits and exploring new possibilities.
“La Primavera está de Moda con Glade” In March 2012 I auditioned for a competition in which we had to submit a design inspired by Glade spring products. I was chosen among the participants as a finalist to bring my design to life and exhibit it in different places. I was a first year in college and I didn’t know how to sew yet but I took on the challenge, I had nothing to lose.
Digital Collections and Designs These designs were all digitally made on Adobe software such as Illustrator. Some are inspired in comic book characters and some in technology, among other things. I wanted to see what I could do on these programs and have fun with the inspiration. For example: I used Siri as inspiration and I made her into this advanced sexy cyborg with an eye for fashion.
Paenobacillus This collection is made for Resort. The inspiration was a bacteria on a petri dish, which is presented in the print. I wanted to make a refreshing look with the color palette and many open back silhouettes.
Lycorice Line This collection was a special project in which we had to make a flower print for somebody who didn’t like them and incorporate it in a collection. So I chose the red spider lily and used the shape of street lines to transform the flower making it less obvious that it’s a flower. The collection is Resort but with a bit of an urban touch because of the print.
