Overview
Synopsis Alone In The Dust is about a boy who is coping with his father’s suicide. The loss of this relationship has rendered him voiceless. Tyler, 11, turns to the company of an imaginary friend who isn’t the best friend he imagines. Tyler deals with isolation and loneliness and discovers life’s greatest challenges cannot be conquered alone.
Positioning Statement Our story is set in a small town on the fringes of society, where comfortable life is a privilege and justice does not always prevail. Through the bipolarity of Tyler’s adventures, we catch a glimpse of his tormented emotions and learn that the greatest imagination is no substitute for friendship.
