Contemporary Rasem Badran is displaying the residual effect of his modernist training in the West through a functionalist approach to form. To create architecture undetected from its location, cultural heritage and society (Badran, 1988).

Grammar Rasem Badran uses;  Intersection of rectilinear objects.  Local material  Does not use computers to design his models he simple uses basic render of water colors He has a high sense of proportionality of his units.

Philosophy Rasem Badrans Architecture style is traditional revivalism that is aware of the culture and the Functional needs of the end-users without neglecting the contemporary technologies and methodologies.

Inspiration:  His father’s artistic work.  The Arab and Islamic culture that he grew up in.  The social and user’s needs
