PRODUCTIONS AND SHOWCASES Studying at NIDA means you’ll have many opportunities to be involved in fully staged productions under the guidance of leading international and Australia directors, writers, choreographers, technical specialists, illusionists and designers. These opportunities include three annual seasons of student productions, short films, musical theatre, cabaret, studio performances, writers’ readings, exhibitions, puppet shows, costume displays, magic shows, properties and objects presentations and more. Third year acting students work with industry professionals to create and collaborate on a short film for their showreel as they conclude their studies. NIDA also invites industry leaders and future employers to view and see this work as an opportunity for all students.
