Why should someone who doesn’t know you listen to your music and not someone else’s? Because I have a Magic sound. And after 35 years spinning I have the knowledge to understand how to rock the crowd on the dance floor. I’m concerned party mines fun and good time, plus I was 20 years resident dj in many different clubs, I have learned to play music to touch people’s heart, I don’t play for myself, for my professional work I want make sure everyone love that moment for me is the most important part of my work. After my set I get a lot of great feedback that makes me feel so happy and proud. ¿Por qué alguien que no te conoce debería escuchar tu música y no la de otra persona? Porque tengo un sonido mágico. Y después de 35 años girando, tengo el conocimiento para entender cómo mover a la multitud en la pista de baile. Me preocupa la diversión y el buen tiempo de las minas de fiesta, además de que estuve 20 años como dj residente en muchos clubes diferentes, he aprendido a tocar música para tocar el corazón de la gente, no toco para mí, por mi trabajo profesional quiero asegurarme todos aman ese momento para mí es la parte más importante de mi trabajo. Después de mi set, recibo una gran cantidad de comentarios que me hacen sentir muy feliz y orgulloso.

How do you feel when you’re DJing? The beginning I’m always studying and testing the sound system. I always make sure it’s clear and cozy. After I would bring on a special groove to get all the crowd crazy that it’s my strategy.

With the big technological change happening around us. How do you see the future of the event industry? More forward we going and there is a better way to share programs and samples and ideas of course, now the new technology and programs like Ableton and Logic audio they have a lot of nice synths and plug in, they are accessible for everyone to learn easy and create music, I see a lot of good new Producers and I’m super happy how big is growing the industrial of djs of house music, I really hope all the best with my heart to everyone is trying this adventure it’s really not easy but keep going, the presence of the guys in that frequency of music is a beautiful hobby.

What do you think is the connection between Ibiza and Tulum? Well I was here from the beginning, everything was starting 13 years ago, and I came here every season in January, and I stayed one or two months. Really the truth is the people have brought this vibe to this area was definitely the BPM, festival with big respect to (Phil, Alessandra, Craig, Ralf, Maximilian), they really have created this connection in Ibiza and what we are now, i believe it was everything starting from the beginning in Playa del Carmen, but after the festival everyone was moving to Tulum and here it was absolutely nothing and we were making the begging party with Solomun and many more good artists and no one place in Tulum had that vibe. The BPM did a lot of good for this area and such shame for everything that happened. I hope this country understands how helpful it was. This place grew so fast and how many families had a good opportunity to have what they have now, if it was not for them it would be very different. I came here for the BPM festival, if it was not for them I would never know this place.

¿Cómo te sientes cuando pinchas? Al principio, siempre estoy estudiando y probando el sistema de sonido. Siempre me aseguro de que sea claro y acogedor. Después, traería un ritmo especial para enloquecer a todo el público porque esa es mi estrategia.

Con el gran cambio tecnológico que está sucediendo a nuestro alrededor. ¿Cómo ve el futuro de la industria de eventos? Más adelante vamos y hay una mejor manera de compartir programas, muestras e ideas, por supuesto, ahora la nueva tecnología y programas como Ableton y Logic audio tienen muchos sintetizadores agradables y se conectan, son accesibles para que todos los aprendan fácilmente. y creo música, veo muchos buenos productores nuevos y estoy súper feliz de lo grande que está creciendo la industria de los djs de la música house, realmente espero que todo lo mejor de corazón para todos estén probando esta aventura, realmente no es fácil, pero Continuar, la estancia de los chicos en esa frecuencia de la música es un pasatiempo hermoso.

El BPM hizo mucho bien por esta área y tanta vergüenza por todo lo que pasó. Espero que este país comprenda lo útil que fue. Este lugar creció tan rápido cuantas familias tuvieron una buena oportunidad de tener lo que tienen ahora, si no fuera por ellas sería muy diferente. Vine aquí para el festival BPM, si no fuera por ellos, nunca conocería este lugar.
