NEW AND ONLINE

The internet never ceases to be an ever changing world of excitement. This month, we’ve seen massive updates to ManyVids, changing their interface to look and feel more user friendly, we saw the new owner of OnlyFans declare that they were never going to take sex off of their platform, and we unfortunately saw PocketStars announce that their platform was dropped by their banking partner and must fi nd a new one to continue payouts to creators! On that last one, don’t fret, they’re already in the works of stabilizing payouts again, and have assured models that their account balances are intact. As an industry, we are seeing new sites come up to bat, with a few to keep in mind such a Pinxsters and AdmireMe. Let’s look forward to a busy, great summer and fall ahead!

TIPS AND TRICKS

Along with talking about new websites coming up, along with the wide variety that has historically been available, it is important to diversify!

Make accounts across multiple platforms, learn and build a following on each. Some days, a certain site will be down for maintenance, or just glitching in general, and you’ll want a backup! If not just for fi nancial stability, but mental as well.

Also, note that each site has diff erent guidelines for each. So, a fetish video you may want to make but it not allowed, may be allowed and sellable elsewhere! Furthermore, if a site does go entirely away, such as we saw AVN Stars, you won’t be left wondering what to do.

Creator Spotlight - Sarah Russi SARAH RUSSI BY SAM SINGH

Would you consider yourself to be a sex worker? Why, or why not?

I would consider myself to be a sex worker because much of the content I make is very explicit, but I only do content creation. I don’t do porn, escorting, or stripping.

How long have you been in the “adult” industry? Have you ever danced, or done professional porn, or is all of your content self-made?

I have been in the adult industry for about 6 years now, but I have been doing modeling work for a lot longer. I was doing photoshoots when I was 18, but I was only shooting lingerie and never planned to do adult work. I went to an amateur night at a strip club when I was 19, but I left before going on stage because I was so shy back then! I began camming on MyFreeCams when I was 23, but I used a fake name. Camming anonymously helped me because I didn’t feel as much pressure as I would have if my name was attached to it. I wasn’t sure if I ever wanted to promote that I was doing adult work, or do it full time, but I enjoyed it so much and I realized that if I wanted to be more successful, I needed to use my real name. I had already been using my real name on all of my social medias so I didn’t think it was a good idea to change it. By the time I started to promote that I was camming, I knew what I wanted my prices to be and I was familiar with scams that customers tried to pull. That’s when I also began doing nude photoshoots and other adult work. My fi rst nude job was co-hosting Naked News. I began doing a few feature dancing gigs at some strip clubs, but camming is still my favorite.

I see you were in a reality TV show, tell me more about that experience!

I loved doing Love Don’t Judge, I thought they portrayed me really well and the experience of fi lming it was so much fun. Everything about it was real.

You’ve done other TV shows and advertisements as well, were you able to create adult content while also working on other projects?

I never had any issue with creating adult content while working on other projects.

I see a lot of girl-girl action on your Twitter. Do you exclusively lm lesbian scenes, or have you done any with a man?

I only fi lm myself with girls and that is because I have been in a relationship for the past 4 years. I’m not sure if I will ever work with men though, but if I do, it has to be with men who I know are professional and want to work, and not in it just for the sex.

Given that most of the content I’m seeing is girl-girl, in your private life, what would you consider your sexuality to be?

I am straight but I also love watching girl/ girl porn, that is the only porn I watch! I fi nd women to be so attractive but I only date men. My fi rst girl/girl experience was on camera and I love to get off watching my own sex videos. I make sure I can cum to all of my videos before I sell them.

What’s the biggest hurdle you’ve personally faced running and being public about your OnlyFans account?

The biggest issue I have had with running my onlyfans are the people who run chargebacks after you deliver what they ordered, or people who run chargebacks on their subscription fees! There is no way to prevent this, even if the product you delivered is perfect, there will still be people out there who will scam you and it isn’t possible to get your money back.

Lastly, and surely not least, be it personal or professional, what is your biggest achievement that you are most proud of?

My biggest achievement is fi lming Love Don’t Judge, because that is what got my name out there, got me press, and led to more shows. Most people who know me, know me from that show and my relationship with Mason Reese. I love it when people come up to us and tell us how much they loved our show, and all of the other positive feedback we’ve gotten.
