ABOUT ME An inspiring student driven by hands on creative work and inspired by all dimension of art, architecture and illustrations.I believe in creating environment to do more than serving a function but to create experience by evoking a unique emotional response. My design incorporates the natural light its patterns, ventilation to bringout life to space I build. For me, building should construct on essentials of clarity ,utility and effect. Always simplicity is more appreciated than what is more complicated. The following is a collection of my projects which reflects my passion for art and architecture.

COMMUNITY CENTER

AT VILAPPILSALA, SEMESTER 03 Community centres are public spaces where the members of community come together for group activities, public meetings and other purposes. The project aims at the development of members of vilappilsala community and acts as a platform for sharing their thoughts.

CONCEPT The building should create an identity for the area and community. It has to be flexible enough to cater to the activities happening thought out of the day and people should feel its presence among them. This is achieved through playing with the massing and carefull introduction of natural and artificial lighting.

It stands as an icon or landmark which eachmember can relate to in their daily life. The community centre will foster a positive change in the locality by providing activities like reading,skill development programmes etc.


SUNKEN WINDOWS WITH WOODEN FRAMES MAKES COMBINATION WITH SOLID BLOCK

COMBINATION OF SOLID MASS WITH PERFORATED JALLI WALLS.

Here solid concrete mass and perforated jalli patterns are intermixed to achieve the desired result. During day time vertical massing will be more visible due to its massiveness and in the evening the porous jalli box will come to life.

The objective was to design a residence for the family of an artist comprising four members ,serving various needs as required. The design incorporates exisisting vegetation and topography. It is designed in a way that the artistic expressions are percievable in each and every spaces.



CONCEPT

A

Art includes the interpretation,expression and representation of form.Artists deliberately arranges the elements in away that appeals the senses or emotions. They use colours ,patterns etc to depict feel.Providing emphasis on natural light which inturn creates patterns, contrasts giv es different stories to each walls which depicts the mood of each spaces.

THE WATER BODY IS VISIBLE FROM SITOUT AND LIVING ROOM

FORM EVOLUTION

Breathing walls with brick jalli are provided within exposed concrete frame. Internal courtyard is open to sky.


Living room and dining room are connected. Given dark wooden furnitures and antique decoratives.

LIVING ROOM AND DINING ROOM ARE VISUALLY CONNECTED

Courtyard space inside and the pattern of light on the wall. Bringing nature inside house to percieve openess and freedom within the house.

School must be open to a new rythm of life. It must be an active place in all hour of day,every day of a year for everyone of all ages. Each and every child is unique ,the curriculm is prepared on a manner that it moulds the child and develop their skills. Interaction spaces are provided in design which serves platform for coopertive learning.

CONCEPT Breaking the four wall concept to indulge pupil with the nature. Classrooms design integrate nature by providing openess. Breaking the regular rigidity has evolved from the regural education system. It is designed in such way that built and un built act together.
