Gilded in plates of lustrous gold, the iconic gramophone trophies of the Grammys are crafted and assembled by hand in Ridgway, Colorado by Billings Artworks. A grander, larger in scale, developed strong zinc alloy named grammium trademarked by Billings (in which the GRAMMYs is coined from) has been the revamped version since the 1990s of a traditional soft lead design. To pull a stunt, for each recipient’s personalized name engraving is not available until after the announcement of awards, therefore stunt trophies are re-used annually for the broadcast.

Beyonce’s

Grammy

American Singer/Songwriter Beyonce has impressed the world when she was declared as the most awarded woman in the GRAMMYs. Taking home nine nominations, she surpassed the record of blugrass singer Alisson Kraus. Dazzling like she is, the guilded trophy for the Best R&B performance finds its home in the space between Beyonce's hands where it deserves to be. She has also received awards for Best Music Video for "BROWN SKIN", Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song for "Savage". “I am so honoured, I’m so excited,” Beyonce said as she humbly accepted her GRAMMYs.
