Garston Medical Centre in Liverpool UK It was a brand new hospital and medical facility in the suburb of Childwall, Liverpool. It was a hospital that focused in particular to Neurosciences and is now fully built. Here are samples of the medical facility I assisted in the summer of 2010 for MBLA Architects + Urbanists.
Key Role; Documentation of the floor plans, sections and elevations. Client consultation and visits to meetings held at the construction site. Renderings of the structure within context and alone.
Skills; Presentation layouts. Documentation of plans in AutoCAD 2008. Detail design in AutoCAD 2008. Renderings which are created by elevations from AutoCAD and manipulation in Adobe Photoshop.
Lotus Medical Centre
The Lotus, Health Centre in Manchester UK This project is my thesis from the University of Manchester. I found through research that increased green space creates healthier inhabitants. Since Manchester is one of the unhealthiest cities in England my proposal synergises nature with structure by creating a large urban park in an area of Manchester dense with car parks. The programme works on treating Manchester’s greatest health threat, obesity.

Grizedale Sensory Park Grizedale Sensory Park in Grizedale UK This project is an educational facility in the Grizedale forest. We were assigned a Project that was to create an educational programme. Instead of a structure with classrooms I wanted to create a more visceral experience. Split into 5 pavilions to educate the inhabitants the importance of each of their senses. Taste, Smell, Sight, Hearing and Touch.
