Student’s Material Each project works on a different art concept as well as key content from Natural and Social Sciences .
Original Artwork
Create
The projects open with an original artwork through which the key art concept is introduced.
The students apply all the techniques, skills and concepts they have acquired during the project in the creation of their own original artwork. Many of the artworks shown on these pages have been made by children.
Geometry/Technology in Art Here students focus on the art concept and develop their ability to perceive, interpret and respond to ideas, experiences and their environment through art. They demonstrate understanding through activities related to completing and copying.
Discover On these pages students practise new techniques in the context of either Natural or Social Science. The level of challenge increases while they still receive support as they develop their creativity.
In this section, students work on audiovisual content, an important part of the Artistic Education syllabus.
Talk about Art On these pages students are given the vocabulary and structures necessary to reflect on their own artwork and those of others.
Festivals Six festivals are available per level in printed and digital form with the Plus Pack (six projects) or in digital form with the Green or Blue Packs (three projects each).

ByME Arts & Crafts is the ideal course for teachers looking for a complete coverage of the subject. Its thorough but inventive approach to the curriculum has ensured it is the most widely used Arts & Crafts course in Spain.
n ByME
Arts & Crafts was the first course written in English specifically for students in bilingual and trilingual programmes.
n Using
a wide range of authentic artworks, it is designed to inspire an understanding of
and an appreciation for art, while giving students a thorough grounding in the different
concepts and techniques included in the Arts & Crafts curriculum. n The
elements of Art – lines, shapes, colours, textures, forms and space – provide a strong theoretical framework for the course.
n The
carefully structured scope and sequence ensure steady progress in language, skills development and knowledge of artistic genres, artists and the history of art.
