Inspired by a strong history Founded by Nick and Poly Nikolakakis in the 1970s, Nikpol serviced the kitchen industry through stocking pre-made solid timber doors. This innovative product offer revolutionalised the market by reducing lead times. Beginning with Pioneering vinyl wrap doors in Australia, Nikpol later undertook substantial expansion into total kitchen solutions adding a wide range of hardware and post-formed laminate worktop production.
Built on experience Representing the second generation of the family business, the Nikolakakis brothers; John and Spiro continue the family ethos entrusted by the family. This innovative surface is called Feelwood, it’s all about giving you the choice and the ability to offer different options dependent on your expectations and budget. By providing a premium look and feel, the new generation of synchronised finishes allow you to also book-match, where the grain of the wood lines up across two or more pieces. With our Egger Feelwood melamine there is less wastage than there would be with timber or veneer, allowing book-match designs to come to life with the new generation of synchronised pores. Not only does our Egger Feelwood reproductions look and feel the same as veneer or solid timber, they are extremely durable against high usage and also light fast. This means that items, placed on top will not affect the surface once removed, unlike solid timber and veneers they tend to fade. Furthermore, if a replacement panel is required, a reproduction would be a perfect colour match to the existing panels.

Motivi Acrylic Lustre boards are a high gloss acrylic surface, with PVC-free plastic surfaces laminated on an E0 MR MDF board. This product extends to every type of application from the kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, office and much more in the form of coated sheets with a high gloss surface. The scratch resistance is infinitely superior compared to other high gloss surfaces, the chemical and stain resistance is so improved it can even be used in laboratory applications and the UV resistance has been greatly improved for color stability.

Nikpol splashback shower wall panels are a great way to add a pop of colour to your kitchen, bathroom, whilst creating a clean and airy space. The sleek, reflective surface pairs well with any contemporary kitchen.
They’re easy to clean and protect your walls from splashes of food when you’re getting dinner ready. The Nikpol splashback range come in a variety of patterns and colours to help you add a more personal look to your kitchen, bathroom and laundries. Resistant to heat, water, grease, mould and dirt, and can be placed on the wall behind your kitchen worktop and hob including gas (fire rated cement sheeting must be placed behind the gas hob) Please refer to the nikpol website for installation instructions.

Before fitting your new Nikpol splashback please ensure that the wall surface is relatively even and free of any obvious bumps. The walls do not have to be perfectly even as a little extra adhesive can be added in hollow areas and less where there may be a slight bump. Using our Monarch neutral cure, solvent free silicone, squeeze out equally sized blobs (roughly 20mm about 100mm apart).

Nikpol decorative laminates are based on curable resins. They have a multilayer structure and consist of melamine resin impregnated decorative paper with one or more layers of kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resins, which are laminated under high pressure and heat. In turn provides a hard wearing surface suitable for high traffic areas. It has a great resistance to abrasion, heat, impact, and stains, making it practical and durable.
