WATERPROOFING TIPS FOR SUCCESS
• Water repellency is durable, but not permanent. Gear will need to be rewaterproofed occasionally.
• When using Nikwax spray-on waterproofing products, be sure the item you are waterproofing is wet.
IMPORTANT! You wouldn’t wax a dirty car, so CLEAN YOUR ITEM BEFORE WATERPROOFING!

1. Wash items with Tech Wash to clean.
2. To re-waterproof, use TX.Direct. Either:
• Wash again (2nd wash cycle) with TX.Direct Wash-In. Or:
• While still wet, spray with TX.Direct Spray-On.
Wait a few minutes then wipe off any excess drips.
