Our approach

In June 2021, the Foundation’s Board of Governors approved a new five-year strategic plan. The strategic plan affirms the Foundation’s vision of a Commonwealth of equal, just and inclusive societies. It articulates our mission as contributing to that vision by:

Our work is organised around three main areas of focus and three cross-cutting themes that reflect the broader Commonwealth and international development agenda, as well as the needs and aspirations of Commonwealth civil society.
