NINEPLUS WETSUITS
AUTUMN
WINTER
Welcome to the #warmclub The entire Nineplus wetsuit range is produced exclusively with Japanese Yamamoto™ Neoprene, the best rubber on the market. These iconic wetsuits are built with surfing in mind whilst retaining the classic styling that Nineplus is famous for. An example of both form and function in beautiful harmony.
We use this type of neoprene because it is arguably the most environmentally friendly way to produce wetsuit rubber. We use the top and bottom surfaces of the pressed sheets which is how the ‘smooth-skin’ is formed (the inner foam is bonded to nylon similar to the type used on normal suits). By using Smooth Skin the wetsuit not only takes on less water, but also acts as a barrier against the wind. Without any water contained within the neoprene being cooled by the wind you are noticeably warmer – wind chill is the main reason you get cold. Yamamoto neoprene also has 10x the stretch retention qualities of regular neoprene meaning it will continue to hold its shape

years after first use, it simply does not ‘bag out’ around the knees and elbows. Nineplus wetsuits have been built around the muscles of the human body with the seams wrapping around the natural contours. This ergonomic design means the wetsuit feels like a custom made wetsuit, a second skin. Nineplus wetsuits are fully blind stitched with glued seams and feature silicon taping in the arms and legs. The Yamamoto Neoprene has almost zero water penetration, which means a super light wetsuit. A lighter wetsuit means your body’s muscles have to work less so you can surf for longer.

Retro Fullsuit NWS-RFS21 / NWS-RFS32 / NWS-RFS43 Sizes: S/M/MT/L/LT/XL/XLT/XXL
The Nineplus Retro Fullsuit, now in its 19th year, represents what we believe to be one of the most durable, warm, flexible and close to a custom as possible.
100% Yamamoto #38 Smoothskin
Produced in Number 38 this is a suit which is extremely modern in terms of fit, comfort and weight while retaining the retro styling of a classic single lined smooth-skin wetsuit. The weight of the materials weigh in at just 2.2lbs (1kg). The suits have minimal water retention as the outside single lined smooth skin acts as a membrane and is impenetrable by water. The suits lining being nylon will dry out in under 15 minutes when left to dry inside out. The chest is lined in Zirconium thermal polypropylene which being water resistant keeps the core chest area warm. The leg panelling uses a complete piece of nylon to eliminate any seat seams and also doubles in flexibility to help when sitting up on the surfboard as it keeps the squat much more flexible.

The Nineplus RFS Front Zip is our most technologically advanced wetsuit with over 4 years of research & development and countless hours of testing.
S.C.S. Hydrophobic Coating
Produced in this is a smooth skin wetsuit which is extremely hi-tech whilst also maintaining the iconic Nineplus styling. This wetsuit was designed for high performance with features including Aerodome Yamamoto chest panels for a lighter suit with increased buoyancy. The suit also features S.C.S. (Super Composite Skin) around the back and shoulders. The micelle structure on the rubber surface repels water giving super low resistance meaning you glide through the water. The weight of the wetsuit comes in at just 2lbs (1kg). The suit has minimal water retention as the outside single lined smooth skin acts as a membrane and is impenetrable by water. The suits lining being nylon will dry out in under 15 minutes when left to dry inside out. Worlds Warmest Wetsuit NWS-W5 | 5/4/3mm | Sizes: S/M/MT/L/LT/XL/XLT/XXL
The ‘Worlds Warmest Wetsuit’ - made from 100% Yamamoto in 5/4/3mm neoprene. Built-in hood with a hidden back zip within the back panel for easy entry especially for those with wider shoulders. The most serious wetsuit we make and has taken 6 years of research and development to create such a great Smooth-Skin wetsuit. The W5 is beautifully produced, and does not absorb or carry water, it’s a shield, body armour for a surfer in frigid waters. It is lined in zirconium throughout body and hood (the best heat retaining, water resistant, thermal insulating material on the market, period) The organ shield (front body panel) is 5mm. The hidden back zip has a quick release pull cord for easy opening of the zip after surfing (when tired). The neck opening has a triple water barrier system secured by a mini front zip. By having a mini zip it also enables the suit to have a smaller neck opening so that it prevents any water flush. Japanese leg panelling as standard to help with flexibility both surfing and going from laying down to the sitting position. Made to enable surfing in water from 3 degrees (37F) to 9C (48F) – a substantial wetsuit.

The ladies catsuit is both iconic, simplistic and classic.
100% Yamamoto #38 Smoothskin with Corset Panneling
The ‘corset’ inspired chest panels use 6 separate pieces of neoprene and are glued together to create the perfect fit on the torso while also ensuring that the suit remains feminine. Concealed zips on the ankle opening to help getting the suit on and off and a longer front zip for easier entry. We have always tried to make the ladies wetsuits in their own unique style, we first put a front zipper in the wetsuits back in 2003 in orders to break the front panel up. Basing the design on Anne Hathaway in Batman it also gives the wearer a very flattering look that is both sexy but also functional and warm. Every winter this wetsuit model for us sells out.

Please select the proper wetsuit size for your body shape. These are not ‘compression’ style wetsuits and should be sized for a relaxed fit, but not too loose. A suit that is too small will invalidate your warranty.
To get the best from your wetsuit, always rinse with clean water after surfing. Hang your wetsuit in half, by the waist for drying and store inside out when completely dry. Do not dry in direct sunlight.
IF TREATED WITH CARE A YAMAMOTO SMOOTHSKIN WILL LAST LONGER THAN A CONVENTIONAL WETSUIT, BUT GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR NINEPLUS WETSUIT ALSO REQUIRES A LITTLE CARE ON YOUR PART. To ensure your wetsuit lasts for many years, we recommend regular rinsing with clean water to remove salts and sand. Your Nineplus wetsuit will dry much faster than normal wetsuits because it contains much less water. Don’t allow it to dry in scorching hot sunshine as in rare cases we have seen the smoothskin rubber heat up so much that it can cook!
Avoid sharp or abrasive surfaces such as rocks, barnacles, branches, dirty/sandy wax or even cactus! Wax should be kept clean and changed often to avoid chest panel wear through!
Limestone neoprene with smooth skin requires special care and usage
Do not force the arm or leg strongly into its opening (back of the knee blowouts), or wrench up forcefully the arm into the shoulder opening when pulling up torso (chest blowouts).
WETSUIT WARRANTY
Smoothskin advocates have always been aware that sharp finger nails, barnacles, and so on, can be capable of ‘nicking’ the skin of the neoprene. However, our shared belief in the benefits of smoothskin has meant that, with years of perseverance with different grades of smoothskin, we have greatly reduced this tendency. Now, if treated carefully a Yamamoto smooth skin suit will last longer than a conventional wetsuit because of its quality and cell structure; but this will still of course be dependant inevitably on your own care and control. If there are any problems, we will always do our best to help you; although our warranty does not include nicks in the smooth skin as this will ultimately be down to your own care. For any other issues our peace of mind policy is: Within the first 3 months we will repair or replace your wetsuit free of charge. Between 3 and 6 months we will repair your wetsuit free of charge. Between 6 and 12 months we will repair your wetsuit free of charge although you will be responsible for delivering it to us. Please note this is on the understanding we can repair your wetsuit and will be confirmed upon receipt of details regarding your wetsuit damage. If the wetsuit has been purchased from a shop the following information will apply.
Do not use fingernails or overly forceful fingertips. It is better to ‘slide’ the suit on rather than to ‘tug’.
• A valid receipt must be copied or taken back with any wetsuit purchase. • The receipt must fit within the date range noted above. • The wetsuit must have been purchased from the store to which it is returned. • A copy of the receipt must be provided when returned to us. • A replacement wetsuit will be offered or a repair service, if for any reason it is out of stock we will have the right to replace it within 90 days, if this is not possible or suitable (at our discretion) we will offer store credit.
Do avoid heavy contact on elbows like heavy resting on surfboard etc...
