Ryan David Fogle This architectural portfolio is a compilation of the works completed during my tenure at the University of Oklahoma and during employment with Studio Architecture. Thank you for taking the time to look, I hope you enjoy.
Light Rail Station A tunnel covers the train to integrate it as part of the building. The upstairs houses a restaurant and bar to allow the station to be less of a place of interchange and more of a destination. Š Ryan Fogle
Tunnel Vision Louvers allow the tunnel to be filled ever moving light and shadow so activity is prevalent inside the tunnel even when the train is absent. Š Ryan Fogle
All Aboard! The tunnel frames the view to the Oklahoma City skyline and the interplay between light and shadow on the loading platform point travelers towards their future destination. Š Ryan Fogle
First Presbyterian Church Plans for a historic church called for the removal of an eighty foot tall tree in order to enclose a courtyard. Š Ryan Fogle
BancFirst Working closely with a superintendent, I discovered the many different interpretations of construction documents and how problems might be prevented. Š Ryan Fogle
Construction Laborer Working on commercial buildings for a general contractor instilled first hand knowledge of how designs become realized. Š Ryan Fogle
Sliding Felt Door A conference room outfitted with an original antique tin ceiling panels and a custom metal table required the construction of a door that would help with acoustics. Š Ryan Fogle

Oklahoma State College of Architecture Building a model with the laser cutter and creating construction documents were among my first assignments at Studio Architecture. Š Studio Architecture

Oklahoma State College of Architecture Sitting adjacent to the Football Stadium, this addition and renovation helps to educate its students on design with its exposed structure, ductwork, and an abundance of natural light. Š Studio Architecture
New Covenant United Methodist Church Several masterplan options were presented to the client, those ideas evolved into one concept that implemented the most desirable qualities of each. Š Studio Architecture
Using diagrams helped to convey to the client which areas of the church would remain and how the new areas could be phased. Š Studio Architecture
The University of Oklahoma Physical Sciences Center A feasibility study done on an auditorium within the tallest building on campus discovered all code issues could be resolved and handicapped access could be attained. Š Studio Architecture
The Universtiy of Oklahoma Athletic Housing In order to sustain the tradition of excellence in sports and scholars, the University wished to create a more luxurious housing to attract new recruits. Š Studio Architecture
The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine Classrooms outfitted with kitchenettes were relocated onto the former circulation path to gain window views that overlook a courtyard. Š Studio Architecture
Roman Nose State Park Lodge The lower building shows the open balconies which failed to drain water properly, the solution above chose to enclose the balconies to correct the problem and prevent any further water damage. Š Studio Architecture

Hobby Lobby Warehouse Creative Department An eclectic client requested for this space to be loft like and as creative as the people it would house. Š Studio Architecture
Code issues regarding open staircases were overcome by incorporating a platform to display items such as artwork and plants. Š Studio Architecture
Hobby Lobby Warehouse Creative Department Cable railing, twelve foot cantilevered balconies, geometric acoustical clouds, exposed structure and ductwork, and bamboo mono-stringer staircases and were utilized to evoke creativity. Š Studio Architecture
Woodward Baseball Complex Several baseball fields huddle around a home plate shaped building houses the concessions, umpires locker room and restrooms. Š Studio Architecture
Wilson Arts Elementary A historic school specializing in arts integration has wall mural paintings throughout its building, it seemed fitting that the library circulation desk be painted as well. Š Studio Architecture
Oklahoma State Animal Diagnostics Laboratory Early schematics called for a green roof complete with live vegetation, however numerous restraints hindered the idea from ever coming to fruition. Š Studio Architecture
Oklahoma Police & Fire Athletic Association
Street Enduro
For use at the World Police & Fire Games, this logo takes elements of the Oklahoma Flag, Maltese cross and American eagle prevalent on most badges.
A logo for a company that organizes timed motorcycle road races on paths less traveled incorporates a compass, a caution symbol, italicized checkered flags and the initials of the company.

Oklahoma Architectural Guide Book Working with the AIA in publishing a book locating the top one hundred buildings in Oklahoma for the states centennial proved to be very gratifying. Š AIA Central Oklahoma
