01 Infopark Metro Station Eighth semester Thesis (Individual project) Project: Metro Station with property development Site Location: Infopark, Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala The project is a proposed site for the second phase of the kochi metro which is set to start by 2020. The Infopark in kochi has a large number of people employed and which leads to high traffic levels of private vehicles. The site is towards the outskirts of the city which is yet to develop with respect to facilities and amenities. The aim of this project was to provide the employees of the IT companies with eateries and shopping facilities. The site is divided on either side of the road with the station being on one side and the commercial space on the other. The concept of the project was to provide spaces that were integrated with greenery so as to provide the employees with a different scenario from being confined to closed spaces the entire day. The main circulation of the building is between the entrance and the metro station which has been designed to be as unconfined as possible creating a grand space.







02 Chilli Auction Centre Fifth semester design project (Individual project) Project: Mixed use high rise, chilli auction centre/ centre for agricultural sales Site Location: Vikas Nagar, Hubballi-Dharwad, Karnataka Hubballi is widely known for their cultivation of a wide range of chillies and has one of the highest production in India. This building was to provide a place that the farmers could sell their produce in bulk whilst providing a place they could approach for any and all their other agricultural needs. The building consists of a chilli auction house, a large scale cold storage, a call centre for farmers, a seminar hall to educate the farmers on new techniques and technologies, labs for soil testing and a centre for counselling. The First floor serves as an open to air exhibition space while the upper levels are sales offices for agricultural corporate offices. Hubli is an area with high wind speeds but those that are very dry and dusty, hence the building has been infused with elements such as wind towers and syphons that can utilize the winds but at the same time restrict the direct flow of the dusty wind.







03 Perdur Mixed Housing Seventh semester design project (Individual project) Project: Mixed income group housing development Site Location: Perdur, Udupi, Karnataka The Perdur district of Udupi is an area that has a severe shortage of housing for people working in the area, and therefore have people who live and travel from towns as far as 50km away. The aim of this project was to design a mixed housing development for the people working in the area of varied income groups. The development is divided into three sections providing housing for the middle income group, low income group and the economically weaker sections as well as provision for a day-care centre and commercial space/community hall. The materials and areas were calculated based on the average income of each type of income group The main concept behind the planning was providing everyone accessible green common spaces to promote interactions and community development.







04 Niraamaya Private Villa Internship, SDEG, Bangalore Scope of work: planning, elevation design, 3d modelling, drafting, mood boards and photoshop post processing Site Location: Benaulim beach, Goa, India A private villa along the shores of the Benaulim beach in Goa, designed with a vernacular touch to it. The project consists of two structures, the main villa as well as a separate guest villa, both having a private pool and deck. With Goa having a warm and humid climate multiple measures have been taken to ensure maximum comfort indoors. Large openings have been provided throughout to maximize cross ventilation. The roof consists of three separate levels of components to reduce heat gain indoors. In addition to this most materials used for the construction of the building have been locally sourced.







05 Life By The Lake Internship, Studio Parametric Architects, Bangalore Scope of work: design & planning, facade design, 3d modelling, rendering, furniture layout, working drawings Site Location: Jakkur, Bangalore, Karnataka An upcoming Luxury apartment complex along the Jakkur lake, with all required facilities and amenities. The site consists of five blocks and another block for recreational activities. The apartments range from smaller two BHK’s to large duplexes with the ones on the ground floor having private gardens. The parking provisions are given in the common basement that spans the entire site with every parking spot having the provision for charging of electric cars.
