I LANDSCAPE DESIGN

The park is designed considering the ‘Rato Machhendranath Jatra’, a chariot procession honouring the rain god. The Machhendranath chariot circumambulates the mother tree which is situated on the opposite side of the site in the Lagankhel Bus Park. The idea is to mirror the chariot route by providing a focal point where the circumambulation is recreated

I MEASURED DRAWING

Parajuli house is one of the oldest houses in Kumal Gaun, a village established by migrants of hilly region during the 1960’s, in Nawalpur district, Nepal. The architecture of the house is influenced by the vernacular architecture of the hilly region in Nepal. The house has been adapted to meet the requirements of the Parajuli family in different times but it does not meet the requirement of the present generation. The house is now being renovated to meet contemporary needs of the family. Documentation of the house was done before the renovation process and the measured drawing of the house was prepared.

11 I FUTURE CLASSROOM COMPETITION ENTRY

Future classroom competition was organised by Supertecture. It was a national level design competition with objective to build a digital, sustainable classroom for shree sila devi school in Doksan that would address the future learning methods. Metamorphosis is a future classroom that would change the conventional model of education into a personalised learning space where children explore themselves, learn interpersonal relationships and build a diverse community through multidimensional learning spaces. Metamorphosed medical waste is recycled as building materials to reduce the solid waste caused by the pandemic. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

MASTER BEDROOM DESIGN

INTERIOR DESIGN I 13

As

a part of the elective course Interior Design, we

designed a master bedroom of area 446 Sq.Ft. with attached bathroom and a walking closet. Tropical theme inspired by natural beauty, bringing nature indoors with organic colors, textures, tropical style furnishings and decor was chosen for the project. The style is characterized by warm and soothing, colors drawn mostly from natural elements such as the sea, sky, and vegetation. The style can help inspire a casual, relaxing atmosphere with a resort-style feel.
