Mera Bisu
Happy Birthday, Bisu
Tere Bin Sanu Sonya… Koi Hor Naiyo Labhna…Jo De ve Ruh nu Sakun…Chuke Cho jo Nakhra Mera!
Nakhra to you don’t chuko at all Bisu, but yes…Ruh nu sukoon for sure! As I reflect on the past 30 years with you-my husband, partner, mentor, and most importantly, my friend—I am filled with deep admiration and gratitude. Your fearlessness choosing to walk a difficult path sometimes amaze me, and sometimes inspire me. You’ve taught me to think beyond self, and embrace the world with open arms and to never stop seeking, learning, and growing.
It’s truly remarkable how, at such a young age, you chose your own path and left conventional routes like IIT and XLRI because your heart guided you elsewhere. Your courage to leave behind the familiar in pursuit of your true passions continues. Over the years, I’ve watched you create and innovate, devising products and services that were way way ahead of their time. When started collecting messages for this coffee book was amazed and humbled to read just how many lives you have touched with your love, enthusiasm and humaneness, and that extends from friends to family in every geography of the world. Your ability to envision and understand things, and more importantly question the wrong, stay true to yourself and embrace the right that others might overlook is extraordinary.
As a partner, you’ve encouraged me to learn, lead, forge my own path and be authentic, and as a father, you’ve fostered independence, hunger for knowledge and openness in Nandini. You have found your calling in your passion for sustainability and change catalyst today. Very few people have the vision and drive to genuinely change the world, and you are undoubtedly one of them.
miss our spontaneous conversations and the fun moments we used to share, I understand that your passion engulfs you. I wish that that you find time and love to reconnect with those joyful moments and continue to change the world.
Here’s to celebrating you today and always. Happy Birthday, Nitin!
With all my love

Chimpi Ka Papa
To the dad with a golden heart...i love you. While our journey together hasn't always been filled with the typical father-daughter moments, I've come to appreciate the late-night discussions we've had over the years. Whether it's politics, education, or movies.
I know we haven’t always been close, and it’s not always easy for me to match the effort you’re trying to make now, but see it, and I’m grateful. As I’ve grown older, I realize how important it is to keep trying, even when things aren’t perfect. happy 50th! I love you.

Dear Nitin
As you turn fabulous 50 - I'm thinking of all the times you have stood by me. You are my pillar of strength and my shoulder to cry on. Multiple times you have proven the saying a friend in need is a friend indeed '. You have remained that friend.
From the first time we met in train. You helped us carry out luggage when the train derailed. You were chivalrous as we were three ladies travelling alone. You have still remained your chivalrous self. Even when one of our relatives met with an accident, you were the first one to escort him to the hospital. There are many incidents like these. You have taken care of our parents just like yours. Never discriminated. Which is a remarkable quality you have.
particularly remember few years back when called you that Aaku needs councilling, you promptly arrived multiple times. remember the night 3 years ago, when fell ill, the only person trusted was you. Your intelligence is par excellence. Your deep knowledge on every subject is inspiring. You are a role model for many. May you continue your journey of great work to the society and towards the family the same way. Wishing you happy and joyous birthday.

Happy 50th Birthday, Bhai!
In the grand series of life we call ‘Friends,’ you are my Ross, and am your Monica.
Our bond has always been tight, filled with playful banter and endless fun.
From my wonder years, you were always there, paving the way and supporting my wild ideas. Convincing Dad was no easy feat, but you fought those battles for me. Whether it was getting permission for a dance party or enrolling me in dance classes despite my grades, you always had my back. It’s because of your support that I’ve become the multi-faceted person am today, turning those whims into passions.
During your wedding, I might have used my pocket money to buy brooms and buckets, but you outdid me at mine by convincing Viraj to marry me when he wasn't ready to settle down.
You've been more than just a brother; you've been a father figure, guiding me through right and wrong decisions. Thank you for being the best brother ever.
Your unique perspective and intelligence are something deeply admire, and am incredibly proud of who you are and what you bring out in all of us.
To Veer, you are the beloved Mamu, his biggest music critic and supporter. To Oreo, you’re the one he loves to stick his butt close to. For Viraj and me, you'll always be the sane crazy brother making sure we don’t fall—unless it’s for a good laugh, of course.
Here’s to more wild adventures, hilarious mishaps, and unforgettable memories with Jo, Nandini, and you. Fifty years of being awesome (and a little bit nuts) deserves a massive celebration!
Here’s to 50 years of awesomeness and many more adventures, laughs, and sibling shenanigans. May this year bring you all the joy, good health, and laughter you can handle.
With lots of love (and a bit of mischief),
Nidhi
Dear Masu

My love for my sweet cousin Nitin is since the time first met him when he was one year old. He was the sweetest toddler have known and he was the innocence wrapped’ in little young boy when I met him every year after year during our summer holidays stay at Nani’s home We played laughed, hugged, loved and then cried when we got separated after our summer holidays as well as our stay at our maternal home was over. It was not the era of video calls We used to see each other’s faces after long one year. Still we used to catch up threads from where we left. This is how we grew up with beautiful memories of childhood. We used to play in parks of A-17, K-109 F-71 Kirti Nagar parks. have vivid memories.
Nitin was a very obedient, intelligent, patient, quiet and pure minded boy. K-109 Kirti Nahar straight away landed at H-156 Sarita Vihar. His independent room at H-156 made him focused, engrossed and competitive young man. He secured a prestigious seat at DCE. Made all of us proud especially his father. He has always been the loving son of a great father……loved by all his buas, sisters, brothers, many beautiful girls cousins, uncles ,aunts and above all he was the most loved by his Dadi Maa.
He is the noblest soul and I am proud to say that am his sister. A great human being who can sacrifice to any extent to make life better for others.God bless you and your mother who brought such a great human being on this planet.
Love you Nitin dear! A happiest 50th birthday. May you enjoy many more and have all your purposes of life get fulfilled. God bless!
Poonam
To my dearest big brother here are some heartfelt words from your younger one: really cherish so many unforgettable moments from childhood to adult milestones - the laughter, the silly jokes, your teachings, and countless heartfelt conversations. You've made our lives richer in many ways, and I'm grateful for your presence in it. You've been a constant source of love, encouragement, and unwavering support. It’s amazing to see you as person who has achieved so much in life, and I'm beyond proud of all your accomplishments. Happy birthday, big bro! love you more than words can say
Nikhil's nemesis, an entertainer in disguise,
With mischief in his eyes, a jig in his stride.
He cracks a sly grin, a plan in his head,
My heart starts to race, don’t know what's coming ahead!
No judgment from him, the wisest of all,
He listens with patience, through big things and small.
He'll break into a dance, sing off-key with glee, A hurricane of silliness, a laugh riot for me!
He may drive us all crazy, that much is for sure,
But life's a dull dance without his playful detour.
So, here's to the antics, the laughter, the mess,
The eldest Dhawan, a rare gem must confess!
Juhi
Happy golden birthday bhaiya. One word for you- you are the ‘vibe’. Wish everyone can be as carefree and as caring as yourself. There is always something inspiring about our talks, small talks, I guess it is your passion for things which is infectious and you are a reminder to us (the entire family i guess) to always follow our passion and things will be better. As an extended and new member of the family, you have been the warmest and kindest big brother I can ask for. Keep you energy up. It may get difficult for some post 50s cant imagine for you Keep your dance moves going (those are so weird yet so authentic and yes they lit the evenings). You are only getting wiser, so i am curious what else is in store from our listener, advisor, motivator, coach bhaiya. Have 50x fun this year and do something that you have always wanted to do but couldn’t. Most importantly be there like you have always been

Happy happy birthday Nitin Bhaiya!
There are sooo many great memories, the holi parties, diwali party cheatings, random get togethers, rakhi, tikka, birthdays and more importantly our converstaion on wheter to go for architecture or not, the days you taught me to be a better version of me, our enlightening discussions about life after my layoff and the sweetest of all our converstion just before I was going on to the stage to marry. Cheers to making more such memories.
Someone I look up to, someone believe, someone I love and someone really care about. Thank you for existing, being in my life and always being there for me. Always keep smiling and push me to be better everyday. May you achieve all you want in life. love you!

Reflecting on our cherished childhood memories, from savouring matka kulfis at Kirti Nagar, getting money from bhabhi ji, playing on scooters near the park in the afternoon of the May-June holidays, to our fun visits to Three Coins shop with Veena chachi jee, fills my heart with joy and brings a big smile on my face even till date. You’ve always been the smart, handsome, unique thinker and role model of our family, ready to guide and lending a helping hand.
The one story remember for reason i don’t know is when in my childhood asked mumma if can stay with nitin bhaiya tonight. stayed with bhaiya in A-block house and then had maggi at night with him. Then early morning we went to district park for a walk and then he dropped me home. know this is not a very interesting story for most but have forgotten alot of things but this memory is something that stayed and so cherish it even today with all the love.
Bhaiya You have always been more than just a sibling to me; you’ve been my guide and my mentor, I’ve watched you work tirelessly, showing incredible dedication in everything you do. Bhabhi n you gel together so well and it has been such an inspiration. You always bring the best out of the family which I deeply admire.
On your special day, I want to thank you for always being there for me, for your wisdom, and for your unfaltering support. You have taught me so much about life, hard work, and staying true to one’s values. am so lucky to have you as a brother.
May this year bring you as much happiness, success, and fulfillment as you have brought into my life. Here’s to celebrating you today and every day!
Wishing you a birthday filled with love, laughter, and everything you enjoy.
Cheers !!
Your accomplishments as an engineer from Delhi College of Engineering and dedication to doing something for society and carrying forward The Dhawan Khandaan legacy are truly admirable. Your out-of-the-box thinking, your ability to motivate, and your ideology (which we ordinary people don’t understand ☺), are the things that make you unique. Although we have been living apart, want to let you know that you truly hold a special place in my heart.
Raj remembers your Biome concept vividly and even till date keeps on delaying washing his good polos lol….We both wish you a fantastic milestone bday! May the next 50 years be better than the last 50 years and may all your dreams get fulfilled, that you have been working towards.

Yaaron Ka Yaar
My dear friend, have been a part of your 50 since don’t know when. Have always known you as a go getter and one who would listen to only himself, like a light or a beacon who would show the path to others, but strive alone in the darkness to find his own. Your days in school, our study time together for the entrance, the time at DCE, your help for the project so much to look back on. Your runaway marriage and Jo’s entry in your life. Its been an amazing journey. You are a confusion to the world as someone said, but is not because of yourself, it is because others are not capable enough to understand you. Your strength in continuously investing in new ventures and the passion that drives you to achieve them is unparallel. You are truly just 25 years of age and 25 years of experience. Thank you for being a big part of our 50 and hope to extend the same in the next 50. Stay healthy and stay blessed. Happy 50th Nitin. Niley
To our dearest friend, on your 50th birthday, we celebrate not just the years, but the extraordinary bond we've forged over the past quarter-century.
Do you remember that corporate training session where our paths first crossed? Little did we know that chance encounter would evolve into a lifelong friendship, filled with laughter, shared experiences, and unwavering support.
We've traveled the world together, conquering business projects and deadlines with late-night brainstorming sessions and the occasional shared cocktail. We've introduced our families, leading to the humorous misconception that you were my younger brother!
Your playful spirit and genuine warmth have made you an honorary member of our family. To my wife, you are the brother she never had – someone she confides in, trusts implicitly, and admires for your wisdom and unwavering support. She cherishes your lighthearted teasing, your infectious laughter, and even your occasional missteps (like that infamous spilled drink!).
You've been a guiding light for our son, offering invaluable advice as he navigated high school and the daunting college admissions process. Your generosity extends beyond our family, as you've mentored countless friends and acquaintances, helping them achieve their career aspirations.
Through life's joys and sorrows, you've stood by our side, celebrating our triumphs and offering solace during our darkest hours. Your unwavering optimism and passion for making a difference in the world inspire us all.
Today, we raise a toast to you – our friend, our confidant, our family. You've enriched our lives in countless ways, and we're eternally grateful for your presence. Happy 50th birthday!
With love and admiration, Bobby, Shikha & Tushu
Dear Tintin,
Wishing you a very happy 50th birthday! It's incredible to think about our journey from DPS (yeah, I know you are a Modernite at heart) to DCE, and how far we've come since then. Those days were truly memorable, and cherish the moments we shared. We also share S.P. Jain as our alma mater, though we ended up going to the institute at different times.
still remember the fun we had, the games (video games, mostly) we played. I remember how you always used to touch my parents’ feet when you visited us and how that made you so ‘well mannered’ in their eyes. remember my trips to Sarita Vihar (H-156 was it?), the long walks, and the fun that we had in the name of preparing for IIT.
Tintin, you were always special… an amazing soul, an amazing heart, at the same time hard working and sharp. When met you, I would’ve called you an introvert, but can see why most people who know you will not be able to believe that. You were an achiever, to be the highest ranking DCEite in a full batch means something!!
You are probably one of the very few friends of mine where we both attended each other’s weddings. You have a wonderful life partner in Jyotika… kid you not, she’s going to find all your friends for this coffee book.
On this milestone birthday, I hope you take some time to reflect on all the wonderful memories and accomplishments of the past 50 years. May the next chapter be filled with even more joy, success, and unforgettable moments.
Here's to many more years of friendship and creating new memories together. Enjoy your special day to the fullest, Nitin!

Nitin is my batchmate from college days. He and attended the BITS Pilani college festival twice and that’s how we got to know each other. To me he was this inspiring character who was always easy going and could interact with girls as if we all were from the same planet. Post college days we lost touch but then somehow connected when he had just set up his EdTech company. He has been a pioneer of sorts. Way ahead of his times in terms how he can see stuff happen years before it becomes commonplace.
Since 2009 we have stayed in regular touch. I have been a witness of his journey in the external world and have also benefitted a lot from the journey he has gone through internally. A lot of people might not get Nitin and what he always seemed to be involved with in the external world. The best thing is that he is ok with that. It could probably be because his internal anchoring is based in truth.
For me Nitin is a source of reality mixed with staying active, of hope and wonder and resilience and enthusiasm and a lot of solid good stuff.
He has this knack of making you feel welcomed and wanted. Jyotika is also like that. So is the rest of his family. Being with them makes me feel like I have known them forever.
I wish them all deep love and harmony in all their relationships…always.
The best years for Nitin and his loved ones lie ahead! am looking forward to being a part of that circle. Wish you all that is good and wonderful my dear friend Nitin. Happy Birthday. Chak de phatte!!

Nitin is the perfect mix of geek and fun-loving person —a true "techie with a twist." mean, who else could have had a 3D modeling setup in the early nineties when most people were still figuring out how to turn on a computer? My earliest memories of Nitin are of hanging out at his place after school, where we’d spend hours fiddling with his gadgets and laughing our heads off. And of course, our adventures didn’t stop there; we’d head out driving and just enjoy life.
I’ll never forget the time we randomly bumped into Nitin at the Habitat Centre—what should’ve been a quick hello turned into an unforgettable evening. Even after 30+ years, Nitin is still that same "hot chocolate fudge" blend of geeky brilliance and the life of the party!
Pratik Mahajan
have known Nitin for more than 30 years now. In school Nitin was always part of the scientist group as we used to call them. These were the guys slogging their ass off and probably studying 30 hrs a day to crack IIT. Guys like us had realised there was no hope and had given up and were spending time on enjoying other pleasures of life Nitin also left Modern in 11th to join DPS ability section in 11th. This was big ego blow to all Modernite’s as we never (and still don’t) regard DPS as a real school Finallly Nitin did crack DCE along with a select group of 4-5 people who were able to make it… Nitin however had the ability to manage various groups and was still in touch with all modern school batch. I was never too close to Nitin however was always in touch with him and used to enjoy our conversations and his theatrics . reset Nitin after marriage and when we were all back in Delhi at Nilay’s place. Runa my wife struck a very close chord with Jyotika and I still don’t how but became really close to Jyotika within a couple of meetings. She used to feel really close to Jyotika and was very fond of her.. still haven’t figured out how but she was really close to Jyotika.
Nitin was always ahead of his times. He gave up the regular corporate brunt and started his entrepreneurial journey. Some of ideas were really amazing. He could see the larger view and all his plans were larger than life. Many of the times couldn’t figure out what he is aiming at but would figure out eventually.
It has been a very rewarding journey to be Nitins friend. infact joke with him that am still trying to u detains and figure out what he talks about I believe Nitin is an exceptional human being and has an amazing brain and thought process. I genuinely feel that it is guys like Nitin who have the capability of transforming lives and opening new horizons. wish him all the best always and thanks to Nitin and Jyotika for being some good human beings and genuine friends
Happy Milestone bday dear Nitin!

Happy 50th Birthday!
Wow, the big 5-0! Can you believe it? still remember all the good times we spent together, studied together, schooled together, watched the movies together, played like there was no tomorrow, and even covered for each other’s mischief. don’t remember anytime which we didn’t celebrate together, whether it was Holi or Diwali or anything in between, we were always together! I think the phrase “stuck to the hip” was meant for us! We’ve had each other's backs through thick and thin, held each other’s secrets, and wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. You’ve always been full of life, energy, and that one-of-a-kind quirkiness that made everything more fun. Your "never say die" super competitive attitude and enterprising spirit have always been an inspiration. You were always ready to tackle any challenge, outshine in every competition, and debate your way to the top.
Even though we don’t talk as often as we used to, know that our bond is as strong as ever. You’ve always been and will always be that friend who could light up any room. Here’s to 50 incredible years and many more ahead.
Cheers to you, my dearest Nitin
Dear Nitin (Or Tintin as used to call you),
was lucky to have a friend like you growing up. Someone who was not afraid to try new things, work hard and dream big. You did raise the bar for us all. And when you had a girl friend well before any of us, I was like “Saala es main bhi yehi aage hain”. From weight lifting to computer networking, we dabbled around in so many things together. Happy 50th birthday my friend (damn, we have known each other for 35 years)

Nitin buddy, been 32 years since we met. Time has flown!
My earliest memories of you are about how passionate you were about everything you did! Wanting to do dramatics, your passion for lifting weights, later yoga and spirituality! am reminded of our Darjeeling trips and your morning push ups - "No pain no gain "!
And that passion continues till this day in what you do now!
On your 50th birthday I wish that your infectious passion and curiosity continues another 50 years.
From being just out of school and now being with families it's been a long journey!
Continue to challenge, provoke and push our collective thinking. Wish you a very special day on your 50th and the best that life has to offer.
Lots of love
Nitin is yaayon ka yaar! Circa 1992. Location - Sarita Vihar. Doorbell rings, I go to the door. Behind the mesh door, can see a boy, drafter in hand, peering in.
SG - Hi, how can help you.
ND - Hi, are you Shalini?
Yes.
Our moms met in the C block market, I believe you are going to DCE.
Yes.
Why dont we learn some mechanical drawing in the next few weeks, get started sooner than others. Can I come in?
Yes, sure.
And that's how it started, 32 years and counting.
In between, we did countless parties - at random people's homes when we were young and with the Chadhis, now that we are not so young.
You were one of my closest friends when we were young, and your wife is one now, when we are not so young.
So many trips together, I've lost count. Pilani when we were young and Goa, when we were not so young.
We met when we were young, all of 18 years. And here we are, not so young.
Happy 50th Nitin. Stay young, stay spirited. Cheers to another 50, that’s when we will definitely be old.

Nitin Dhawan: how do describe him: a guy with a terrific sense of humour, very very intelligent [and underplays his intelligence]. Fun to be with, always. Very committed to social causes. And a very good yaar ❤ always there to help, always!! I love his dance moves – too good and spontaneity.
would always choose Nitin Dhawan in my team or join his team always, True friend and really great to know him. His wife is an Italian model, equally talented. Both are a great contrast but complimentary
Birthday Greetings Nitin bro: wish you health & happiness from all of us: your ardent fans & admirers,
Ninky,
Jai, Aditya & Rajiv
Dear Nitin,
On this milestone of your 50th birthday, I find myself reflecting on the extraordinary person you are. You are a man of profound intelligence, one who sees the world not through the lens of convention, but through the boundless expanse of original thought. Your ideas, always unconventional, challenge the status quo and push everyone around you to think deeper, to see beyond the obvious.
Yes, you can be blunt, and sometimes that directness can be mistaken for rudeness, but those of us who know you well understand that your words, though sharp, are always rooted in truth. You speak with an honesty that is rare, and though it may catch some off guard, it is one of the things I admire most about you.
Together with Jyotika, who is nothing short of a remarkable partner, you both radiate a kind of strength and unity that is truly inspiring. The way you support each other, the way you both navigate the challenges of life, is a testament to the deep bond you share. And then there’s Nandini—what a wonderful reflection she is of the hard work, love, and dedication you’ve poured into her. She is the embodiment of the values you hold dear, and it’s clear that she is on her way to making her own mark on the world, thanks in no small part to your guidance.
So here’s to you, Nitin—a man who defies the ordinary, who challenges the norm, and who, in doing so, enriches the lives of everyone lucky enough to know him. May this year bring you even more wisdom, more joy, and more reasons to keep being the incredible person you are. Happy 50th, my friend!

have known Nitin for over 40 years, and in all of this time, he has been the intellectual who early on was busy pushing up the Modern School class average. At some point, he realized the futility of his goal. He realized that the mean was just too low, and he decided to move to the DPS RK specialty section. have met a lot of dipsites with modernite traits, and can't help but think that it has something to do with Mr. School badlu. At DPS, they definitely improved his debating skills. remember a time in our middle school when he befriended our Sanskrit teacher and aced the class. He would memorize the schlokas, and for a time, it seemed he would become a pandit. Not that there is anything wrong with it. He would be a successful politician today. In all honesty, we love Nitin. With his passion for debate and social work, he is making an impact where it's needed most. We like his honesty and simplicity. Nitin, I wish you all the best for the 50th, and am looking forward to years of "gyan transfer" from you to me.

Happy 50th Birthday to our incredible jeeju!
It’s hard to believe that you’re hitting the big 5-0 because your energy, wit, and zest for life are truly ageless. Nitinji and me became friends when we embarked on an ambitious journey to build a lobby of Educationist who would attempt to influence the way education exists in our society.
The way we chose to govern ourselves was by Sociocracy
It was a riot with long conversations, odd obstacles and setbacks that have become laugh riots today
It didn’t yield what we wanted, but definitely got me a friend and many moments to laugh at ourselves in retrospect!
Happy Birthday to one of the best Discussion Jugglers in the world!
May he continue to help us war with words with everyone a winner
There are many other friends and family members who were intended to be featured in this coffee table book. Unfortunately, due to messages not received in time or challenges in connecting, their contributions could not be included. Nitin holds each of you in high regard and loves you. We are confident that this sentiment is mutual.
